Boy, was this a tiring election season. However, I was very glad to see that PC was so enthusiastic about the whole thing. The election thread got a bunch of attention, and people got the opportunity to both express and defend their views. While I'm not incredibly happy with the results, I think we can all say that this was quite a historic event in American history.
As we speak, kids are running down the hallway chanting "YES WE CAN!"...I suppose that's what I get for living on a college campus. I've long since cranked my music up so I don't have to hear them, but in some ways I'm happy for them. If my candidate had won, I'd certainly be pleased as well. But it's still a tough pill to swallow, but if there's one thing I hate, it's those who cannot be gracious in defeat. Which is why I've pretty much stayed quiet.
I'd normally confide my feelings to an actual person, but I seem to be surrounded by Democrats! XD....So I thank my PC blog for letting me talk a little about the election. =P
