  • I went to bed after I posted that last blog entry, which my blog panel tells me was 10.13 pm.

I didn't get to sleep till nearly 2 am. ;_; I just couldn't bear the thought of actually sleeping. I played Mario Kart for long enough that I finished all the tracks and started again. I then went to Balloon Battle mode until I ran out of stages there, too. >_<

After I did that, I fumbled around in the dark and pulled out Platinum. (Couldn't find Super Mario Bros.) It was half past midnight by this point, but for some reason the Gym Leaders in the Top Trainer Cafe hadn't rolled over (It's my favourite place to train), so I went vaguely wandering around Sinnoh. I flew to Pastoria City and got Footprint Ribbons for mt party. Two of them said they wanted to chomp my neck as a gesture of friendship or whatever. o_O I'm scared. I then flew to Jubilife City and lol'd at all the poor, nooby NPCs in the GTS (or whatever it is) before finally falling asleep.

But while playing Mario Kart DS, I discovered that invincibility does not, in fact, guard against idiocy. On three separate occasions I scored a Star from the item box lottery and went zooming around like a cat on steroids. All three times, I promptly fell over the edge of the stage. >_< And seeing as you pretty much only get Stars when you're on your last legs (MKDS is a shameless equaliser. When you're winning you get banana skins. When you're losing you get shrink rays, homing shells and uber flying shells that kill whoever's winning.)

So, a warning. Though Stars grant you invulnerability to all items etc, nothing can save you from your own stupidity.

No stupidly long blog entry this time, guys. That was something of a one-off. (Ah, who am I kidding? =P)

*points to blog header for those who didn't see it last time*

Well, I also have a new theme, my third this month. The reason I'm going through them so fast is that my quality is drastically increasing. I'm still not great, but relative to what I started with, I'm getting better. Once I steady out a little bit I'll have a theme I keep for a while.

I do like this one, though.
