  • Well, we are all going to die one day or another, and I'm not dieing (I hope). But I feel like I am. I've been bit by a brown recluse spider. The doctor yesterday said that it was possible that It was just a skin irritation, well I have just one question, does a skin irritation take a chunk out of you leg?!?!?!

I have a hole in my leg 1/2" deep, and 3/8" wide.

The doctor did start me on 1500 MG of CEPHALEXIN a day, aka antibiotics.

After doing some research, there really is nothing I can do about my bite but take antibiotics, so therefor I just have to suffer through this (painful) experience.

[AGELIMIT] WARNING, NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. [/AGELIMIT]

UPDATE: the hole is now 1/2" at the widest.
Update 05/09/09 I am actually starting to get some felling back. and hole is pretty much gone, but there is still a bump.

Some people freak out at the mere sight of a drop of blood, others could watch someone die as they eat.

Oh gosh, a whole in your leg?
I sure hope it gets better.

OMG look here comes the bad stuff! And good stuff of course ;3
Btw, italic = good stuff, bold = bad stuff
Most bites are minor with no necrosis. However, a small number of bites produce severe dermonecrotic lesions, and, sometimes, severe systemic symptoms. These symptoms can include organ damage, and occasionally even death; most fatalities are in children under 7 [6] or those with a weaker than normal immune system.

    There ya go ;3
