This is the truth.

You notice I'm here every single day, but I'm not super active. Obviously not, no? It's true--I'm busy. Really busy. One way or another I'm doing something. As of right now: I'm on EGC. I'm close to a really high, 5 digit number postcount and I'm slaving away, posting all I can just to get there. While EGC means a lot to me, I wonder PC means to me. It's just another site I visit daily. That's about it...

Not sure what placement I have here, really. I just come here to post on occasion, but it's okay, I guess... I doubt my postcount will ever reach 2,000+. That's fine. I don't care about postcount here.

Anyway, I basically don't really exist here. Invisible mode for one thing. That'll never be turned off.

But I'm always here, and I'll post sometimes, whenever necessary.

So.. what does postcount really mean in the end? To be active means to be noticed? to be contributing? Hm.. not sure that's true now or even in just a few years' time, no matter where you are. It makes me wonder sometimes... what it really means to be a user and have people know who you are.. hmm...

I dont really consider post count important. In the end, it's just a number. Its more about what's in the posts themselves that adds to the community.

I got to 2,500 and was like "now that I've established myself as a member, I will continue posting without regard to that number."

It's still fun to see how big it is though. 3,250 4 lyfe

I used to do the same with another forum before it got shut down (b/c dumbasses abound) but you know, interests wane and it's fine to feel like you need a break.

This is another site I was talking about, lol. I'll continue posting there, raising everyone else's post count along with mine. So, yeah, Dipu, I like to help people boost postcounts on EGC--but a five digit number was my goal to show that I care about that site.

Postcount doesn't really matter--it's a number that doesn't define a person... I used to care about postcount... no longer.

Oh, I knew it was on another site. It's just that it appeared you were putting so much effort into getting to 5 digits that you weren't thinking about what happens afterwards. Sorry if the situation wasn't that D;

are you putting actual effort into your posts do you care solely about the number

I do understand though, Pal. Natural to feel that way, I guess. It's probably just that you're probably more familiar with the people of that place when compared to here. And find the overall atmosphere of EGC better than PC's for some reason.
