  • Before we go into my monthly update, a SWARM of blog entries will pop up this week. This includes my latest trip to Galveston, Splatoon, and a potential life change I'm about to go through this coming month. <3

Busy. BUSY. I'm getting there, y'all! As you can tell from the past couple of weeks, I've been on demotion leave of absence and will be returning this week. :3 This break has helped me a ton, and been needing it for quite a while now. Because of SO MUCH SHIT HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME, I had to make a few cuts, thus PC was one of them.

I survived the following: the brutal Texas summer, Tax-Free weekend, weeks of lack of sleep, as well as a war with mosquitoes. I'm still doing (almost) weekly trips to Galveston to see Roy, but now that he started uni last week and is staying at his dad's place, we'll finally get to see each other in Houston often rather than at the Countryside. Honestly, this summer was really tough, in a emotional and mental sense, because Roy had it hard. So being there for him was the least I could do. He's doing okay now, and I'm so happy.

I'd like to update y'all on a blog entry I wrote a few weeks ago in regards to a Dolphin Necklace I've been looking for around the internet. I've found someone who is a necklace crafter in Hawaii, and he was able to find the same exact necklace I had in mind! (read blog entry here). I'm SO SO HAPPY that I was able to find EXACTLY what I need! If anyone is wondering, this is the necklace:
    Spoiler:

I had to wait until this past Thursday to see Roy so I could be able to deliver it to him as a surprise. He really was, and his mom thought it was super thoughtful and sweet of me to actually go above and beyond to find that same exact necklace he used to have (with the same details and everything). I honestly couldn't believe I've done something super extraordinary…especially for love.

This month has brought me into a phase where…now that I'm almost 6 months in Houston, I should probably start figuring out what things I want to keep in my life, and what I don't want in my life. First off…I've decided that I'll be pursuing a better job. I love my supervisor job. I really do. But I am almost never coming to terms with my assistant manager. Something tells me I should probably wait until after the Holidays, which is actually not a bad idea, but do you think I can resist? Hopefully. Also, a new place sounds okay. I'm currently in the talks with a co-worker of mine on renting an apartment together nearby our workplace, and honestly I'm really, really nervous about it. Where I'm at right now is awesome and it's pretty much nearby everything, even downtown, but I really miss the extra perks I should have gotten, such as owning a cat or a dog, or having private parking. Westchase, Gulfton, maybe suburban cities like Sugar Land and Missouri City are good places to find a place to live. However, the co-worker and I have to mutually agree on a place and neighborhood together. Right now she's trying to move out of her current place, where she and her now ex-boyfriend currently live. We'll be discussing more about it when we meet at the Galleria this coming Friday.

HOLD THE FUCK UP. WE ONLY HAVE FOUR MONTHS UNTIL CHRISTMAS. Already booked my Christmas trip to California, from December 22! I'm still…not sure if I want to stay all the way until New Years, so I only booked a one way trip for now. It's also unclear if Roy wants to come with me and spend Christmas with my family (OSHIT. CUE MEET THE PARENTS MOVIE), but I told him that his family probably needs him the most, so I'll let him stay this year. I mean, I'm not gonna like…FORCE him to meet my parents, and it's not like I don't want him to meet my parents or my family. I actually do want him to meet them, but it can wait until my family decides to visit me in Houston…and they are currently in the talks of doing so next year.

Splatoon has become my latest obsession. Ever since Roy (my boyfriend) got me into it, I've been playing it nonstop. I'm currently at Level 27 and a C+ rank. Rainmaker is what solidified my obsession, and I don't want to braaaaaag, but I think the Splatoon fandom is noticing the fact that I'm…actually good at Rainmaker. Unfortunately I didn't participate much in this month's Splatfest (which is a Transformers themed Splatfest), because I've been out and about so much I haven't been at my place for much of this weekend, nor have touched my Wii U due to schoolwork and work.

Only a month left until Quarter 2 ends. I'm stoked, really. I've been doing a whole lot better than last quarter, despite crashing during Pre-Calculus. A lot of things will happen in September. Roy will be heading to Austin this Labor Day weekend to help his older sister out (she's having her baby in a couple weeks, it's a girl!), and my older sister is having her baby boy this coming week. So…yay for babies born! I have a feeling September is going to be a really good month. B)
