As some of you may have realized with some of my old entries, Calvin and Hobbes is one of my most favorite comic strips out there. Bill Watterson is a very interesting and intellectual man, and his intuition really does shine in the boyish strips of Calvin and Hobbes. So, to celebrate the occasion, earlier in June I decided to get my very first tattoo of none other than...
Yuppers, that is a picture of my left leg which has the tattoo on it. Calvin and Hobbes are known for being absolutely zany and just living a very care free life and making the best out of the time they do have. I find that this reflects my personality a lot - as I am a complete goober at times lol - and thus I wanted to have something on my body that reflected how even though you age physically, you don't truly have to grow up as you're never too old to have fun. And considering I'm entering a profession where I get to hang out with Kindergarteners all day everyday, I find that I'll always be able to exercise my imagination.
In due time I'll probably get another tattoo (in the Fall/Winter most likely.) However, I just wanted to share with you a picture of the tattoo I got as this was a very special moment in life that really holds a lot of meaning to me. What about you guys? Do you have a tattoo?
