I can't get this song out of my head. I've probably listened to this song at least fifteen times today, and I'm not getting bored of it. It's at about 120-something in play count on my iTunes library. I have no idea why, but this song has implanted itself in my brain and has put itself on repeat. It's not one of those annoying dance songs that I hate but are catchy. This song is actually one of the best songs I've ever heard. What is it? Only the BEST SONG EVER. Melody of the Wild Dance by SID. You Bleach and J-Rock fans have probably already heard of it, and most of you have it in your heads as well. There's even the awesome anime video to go with it. Here it is (this is the shortened version, btw) :

What I like about this song is the fact that it opens with a haunting chorus then draws you in with a rocking guitar solo that tells you that you're in for an awesome song. The opening verses are pretty boring, but then the song bursts into the chorus. The shortened version of the song is even better because the chorus extends into a combination of the other choruses in the songs with no slow second stanza to go with it. It follows the routine layout of most J-Rock songs, but it still sounds so much better than the other ones I've heard before.
All in all, it's an epic song to listen to, and an epic AMV to watch as well. Songs like this make me wish I knew Japanese. The single will be released in five days, but I managed to get a fairly good-quality leak to last me until the song's official release on December 1. I'll be hooked on it for much longer, though.
