Well, my run through White 2 is officially over. Somehow, and I'm not sure how (faulty game card? Magnetic interference?) my save data got wiped out last night. Which means 65 hours, level 58 Pokemon, 7 badges, 135 Pokedex entries, and a level-9 Join Avenue pretty much set up the way I wanted it are now down the drain. And needless to say I'm not too keen on restarting it now - the actual gameplay was rather mediocre, the plot seemed to drag, and I actually enjoyed building up Join Avenue (and looking at Rosa/Mei's back sprite) more than playing the actual game... although based on my snarky comments about the game so far in my playthrough, you probably could've guessed that one. I especially didn't care for the annoying "anger management issues" rival.
It was still better than HG/SS or B/w though, at least as far as I got into it. And I'll still probably write up a full review of it. Seven badges is close enough to the end and I can watch Let's Play videos for the rest of the story.
On a lighter note, it's my five year anniversary of being here on PC! Man, five years seems to fly by fast, doesn't it?
