  • Well, not really. More like thick ice. My friends and I are planning to go ice skating on Sunday, and I can't wait. What I can't understand though is why the prices vary so much. Maybe it has to do with the fact I'm going to rinks in the middle of NYC. But a ticket of admission at Central Park costs a whopping $11. Rentals are another $8 I think. And there's a spectator fee. I don't even know what that is, you can't actually charge a person to watch, can you? Anyhow, needless to say I'm not going to go skating at Central Park. Instead, I'll be going to a rink a block away from Citi Field where the lowly New York Mets play baseball. Derp.

On a side note, stay safe tomorrow guys, since it's apparently the end of the world. Be worried of the people around you, some people might take #YOLO to a new extreme. Myself, I wish I could say that I'm gonna go partayyyyyy. But nah. I'm gonna go home and nap. Hehe.

  • On their premises, they can charge you for whatever they want. And given how ice skating is, for most people, a Christmassy thing they'll take full advantage of that and whack their prices up. You're being overcharged badly right there.

  • Haha, given that it's Central Park in the New York City, I guess it's a tourist trap. And the prices were jacked up from what I last remember actually, I just realized. The place by Citi Field is only charging 13 for everything. =P

  • Is it really? I don't go skating in the city often, but I know the jacked the prices up for Christmas. If that's not so bad according to you... then I'm really confused. lol
