Around 8 years ago, I started getting spots on my arms and back. The doctor said it was just a minor problem because "I was growing". He told us to wait.
A few years later, I was told it was a skin issue. I got some pills to clean it, and the spots started disappearing... but they never left, and, as soon as I stopped taking the pills, they were back.
Next thing I got told, the skin had that issue because of some stomach bacteries that had got out of hand, so I had to take some anti-bacterium drinks to balance them. The spots didn't go away, so he told me I should just wait to "clean the dead bacteries". Nothing happened.
Today I went to a different doctor. She told me the bacteries were out of control because I had a minor problem in my liver, so she told me to take some pills to fix that. Once it is fixed, the bacteries will be in their right measure, I will stop having acidity, I'll sleep better and I won't pull a muscle in my foot anymore.
By then, I was wondering how she knew all of that and why nobody else had came to that conclusion before.
I just hope this time they really hit the core of my problems D:
Also I love The Guardian.
