In need of Photoshop help

Yes, I now have a copy of Photoshop. Actually, it's Photoshop CS3 Extended!! Let's just say I got it out of the kindness of someone's heart when I told them I got a copy of NASCAR Racing 2003 season, still THE BEST stock car racing sim ever. XD

Players of that game have been using Photoshop to make outstanding custom paint schemes for their cars with the help of ready made templates supplied by other fans of the game.

I REALLY want to start making my own custom cars for the game, but there's ONE problem...

I'VE NEVER USED PHOTOSHOP BEFORE!!!!!!!!!

So, if any of you can direct me to where I can find Photoshop beginner tutorials, that'll make my day. The first time I opened it, I was 100% clueless!!

Haha, yeah it's a little hard when you just start using it.
I have the exact same photoshop!
Hmm, you wouldn't really think it, or maybe you would, you can just go to youtube for tutorials... and also go to good-tutorials.com, also for brushes, go to good-brushes.com, for the text I advise going to... sketchpad.com and at the top, go to free texts, or fonts, I kinda forget that lol.

But have you checked to see if anything in the Tutorials and Resources thread in Graphics and Photography helps yet?

I don't know if they'll have anything general, but it's always worth a shot.

It seems like everybody has 7. I guess I'm lucky to get one of the latest versions.

Well, I'll look around to find some help and take a look see at the Tutorials and Resources thread too.
