How do I love myself? How can I love myself? How can one even like them self? I'm asking this because I hate myself more than anyone else in the world.

One can start liking themselves by first putting their chin up, and then proceed to focus on the good within themselves. The good that no doubt outweighs the bad, despite what you might think. You just have to be a little more optimistic. :3

alternatively, create a status on fb and like that. /shot

I hate to boil it down to this, but start by getting help.

wow we are a pair I'm going through this rn

start by just ignoring your "ihu" things that float around in your mind (that's what my therapist told me) and just try to have fun (you won't, but it's like counting sheep to go to sleep for being happy) do get help though that's important. someone who knows how not to make you feel even worse but still can talk to you like a human again.

basically try to be happy :) it'll all work out in the end somehow.

I mean if you were stranded in the desert and you knew that you had no way of getting out alive, wouldn't you try to get out as far as you can just in case there was a secret little oasis?

As someone who is never happy with himself, I can only tell you that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Cheer up! Not everyday is gonna be great, but just think that the future will be positive. Identify why you are unhappy about yourself and make an effort to change and correct it. Doing nothing is the worst thing TRUST ME I KNOW. If you think that getting help is the best option I would do so before things get worse. And most importantly, smile.

Think about what you don't like it yourself then think about why you don't like those things and whether they're really things worth hating. Think about what things you love in other people then think as honestly as you can about whether you have any of those qualities, to whatever degree, in yourself. Loving yourself isn't as much about completely changing who you are overnight, but about a change in perception. Just finding one little thing to love about yourself is okay for now. Even if it seems insignificant don't dismiss it. The other changes will follow in time.

But also consider getting professional help. Sometimes you need that and that's okay.
