PROVE. ME. WRONG. Didn't think so.
Also, a short rant on signature/theme rating if you don't mind. So, I've been noticing a few instances of people who rate themes mostly based on the identity of the people used in said themes. Such ratings including statements such as "I love that character! *high score*" or "I don't know who that is *low score*". I've seen some really good themes that were told that they weren't good because the rater didn't know the source. Vice versa, I've seen a lot of relatively bad themes that got good ratings because they had characters that the rater liked. When it comes to these kind of things, shouldn't it be the general appearance overall that matter? If you really care about design, it should be how well your use of images, text, and color meshes together to make something appealing over how many of you can put your favorite character ever into your signature or avatar. Taking into account a character's traits and incorporating them in appealing way is also a good way so that a person who don't know the source of the image can enjoy it as well is also a good technique. What I don't like to see are just images of characters/series and then a quote or something and that's it. No coloring, positioning, or anything. I'm starting to repeat myself aren't I?
tl;dr: I like themes that appeal to everyone, not those that would only appeal to those that understand injokes.
Then again, most of the rating threads are kids anyway, so it can't be helped.
ALSO ALSO,
ALSO ALSO ALSO ALSO, nobody reads the text or plays the music in your signature (or at least I don't). If you're going to include it, make it look nice.
OK, I think I'm done on my signature rants.
