Got really busy with school stuff.
As a result,
Very short blog.
I feel awful, but it's better than nothing.
Will have a MUCH longer blog tomorrow.

It's September 11, 2008, and I'm starting my blog right from where I left off last night.
<o:p> </o:p>
I had taught my Geodude, Nate, Rock Smash and was on my way to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Floaroma</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Town</st1:placetype></st1:place>. As I made my way there, I realized that I need a fire pokemon.

Anyway, I headed up to the route, Rock Smash'd my way through the cave, and found soon found myself in the first double battle of the game – against two Pachirisu.
<o:p> </o:p>
Entered Floaroma, healed my pokemon, and headed straight to the Valley Windworks. Fought the grunt with a Glameow, and then, like DP, headed to the Meadow/Forest place. Fought the two grunts and then got the Windworks Key and Honey from the guy back there.
<o:p> </o:p>
Headed back over to the Windworks with my Piplup at level 19 and my Budew at level 17. STILL waiting for my egg to hatch. :( When you enter, a grunt is like ! and runs off to the back.

You fight two trainers, and then you fight Mars. She has a level 15 Zubat and a level 17 Purugly. After the fight, Pluto starts talking, and all members of Team Galactic depart.
The scientist talks to you, and the little girl runs up and they're back together. How … touching.

Outside, Handsome greets us and then goes inside to check, and then comes back out, talks a little bit more and then runs off.
<o:p> </o:p>
The next thing I did was go west of the Windworks and head to the north.
On my way, low and behold my Rotom egg hatched! It's shiny! Needless to say, this is my first shiny in-game. :'D

How exciting~! I'll get to Eterna and then level it up there, I suppose.

Entered Eterna Forrest, and now I've got Cheryl following me around – she still has a Chansey at level 20. Woo, double battles. The mist graphics that are randomly in the forest look pretty cool. Double battling a bit with her – thank god for the fact that she automatically heals you after each battle :D

After wandering aimlessly through the forest, I found my way out. When I made it to the exit, Cheryl informed me it was time for her to go, and I followed her out of the forest, and embarked on the road to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Eterna</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">City</st1:placetype></st1:place>.
On the way, I noticed about four fishermen fishing, but I paid them no mind – I was anxious to get to my gym battle!

When I reached the city, I couldn't help but notice members of Team Galactic standing around town.
<o:p> </o:p>
I walked behind the PokeCenter, and with a thud, Matt ran into me and energetically took me to the town statue (which is a Palkia, apparently). Cyrus was standing in front of it. After he talks to himself a little bit, he walks to the left towards myself and Matt and then I moved so he could get by. Matt says something and then runs off. I run to the left, and back behind the PokeCenter and Cynthia greets me, and gives me HM01 like in DP.

From here, I scurried over to the Explorer's house, got the kit, went underground, talked to Roark, went back above ground and then received some things. Now going to take on the gym.

The leader, Gardenia, is standing outside, and after she mentions something about Matt, heads inside. When I enter, I notice the changes immediately. I went to talk to a girl but she turned out to be a trainer ;o;! Trap, much.

Decided to train my Rotom up to level 20.
<o:p> </o:p>
Hurried across, and finally made it to Gardenia :D

She has a Turtwig level 20, a Cherrim level 20, and a Roserade level 22. Got the badge and Grass Knot
Woo~ I get to use cut now :D~!

..How emo does that sound XD;

Anyways, I apologize, I got really busy doing school work and et cetera. I'm human too :p

Dude, shiny on the egg? Lucky son of a gun! XD

Great job, Erik. Keep it up. =D

Oh and for a Fire Pocket Monster, go to the route north of Oreburgh, you'll find a Ponyta there. =D
