Tonight I had the privilege of attending a fundraiser for a junior couple at my dance studio. The pair are not only two of the best in my state, but also in Australia and it was a pleasure to watch them and support them in their efforts to raise money for interstate competition.
I have had the pleasure of watching these two grow as people and as dancers since they were only like nine or ten and I am not ashamed at the slightest that they make me look like a total noob. Honestly I'm just proud to have such talented people at the same studio as me.
It was an extremely enjoyable night with fantastic company on top of the incredible floorshows I got to watch. There was a lot of mucking around, a guy came in with the most insane blue frizzy wig, flamboyant tailcoat and bedazzled rights for absolutely no reason and I got to catch up with a friend of mine who I hadn't seen for about a year. I am very amused to hear she is currently working in the baby room at a daycare and has sworn off of children for the rest of her life.
I get to settle down now and relax for a bit before (hopefully) going to sleep. Tomorrow looks like it will be another good day as I'm set to attend a dance syllabus seminar with a friend of mine who also coaches in order to learn about the basic syllabus in more depth and discover some cool variations.

A Pretty Good Night
