  • Wanna get a super-cool and totally mega-awesome emblem? Head on down to Culture & Media and read this announcement about the 'Power of Ten'!

If you're greedy and want even MORE emblems, emblems, emblems, then check back here tomorrow where I'll be letting people in on the second of C&M's emblem contests. Yay! ^_^

(Also, it's my birthday today... double yay!)

Oh dear... is all I can say. I hope they listen to your guidelines!

I'll totally give it a go though, I need an excuse to be active again.

  • Perhaps put a limit on threads? Say, a member can only make a thread once every 24 hours? Juuust so people are less inclined to spam.

Question question question! Are there any very basic guidelines for success? For example, reply count, is there a minimum or does it change based on the quality of the other parts, like a sliding scale?

  • Yay, questions!

@TheSmartOne and Toujours: The main reason why these are guidelines and not rigidly enforced rules is just so people can use common sense. If I put a rigid minimum standard down, I have the feeling a 'box-ticking' culture would emerge to just meet these things, rather than an overall desire to improve the quality of C&M. Essentially, I'm a pragmatist at heart, so would rather people use common sense than just blindly following hard-and-fast rules.

And thanks for the B'Day wishes, everyone!
