Ten days until National Novel Writing Month...

I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING ;_______;

Usually at this point I am counting down the days until I start writing. There's usually rough outlines and so many scenes I want to get to and OMG IS NOVEMBER HERE YET? Logged onto the NaNo site today to see there's ten days and this year I'm left going CRAP. I have several ideas, but nothing that really sticks out. I just can't get that perfect plot bunny!

In other news, anyone else participating in NaNo this year? :)

I totally failed to finish last year, but this time I'm doing it with two other people. Hopefully that'll motivate me more. I'm dreading/excited for the day after Halloween.

I have begun the brainstorming! I must go for my 4th NaNo victory!

I'm not the best writer and don't really enjoy doing it.. so I'm not participating.. but I'm really looking forward to reading new stuff and giving my support to everyone who's taking part!

First year NaNo writer! /waves

I know basically the history of everything everyone and their mum of what I am writing but the plot is... not quite clear yet. ^^; I still got these ten days though so I should be ready to go. <3

How many people are you going to bet will be writing hot, steamy NC 17 content for NaNo? ;_;

Scarf -- If you're participating with others, totally do word wars with them! I did a few with my sister last year and it's a ton of fun, plus you get more writing done. :D Also, if you're having issues with sitting and writing, try the site Write or Die. It'll scare you into writing if that's what'll get it done. The settings to run it on the site are on the sidebar. d("d)

TheSmartOne -- Right now I'm actually at that point. I have a better idea of characters in my head than an actual plot. I just have to sit down and outline.

Kura -- According to the NaNo forums, not as many as you'd think. Judging by the postcounts of the various genre forums it looks like it's a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, with the Erotic Fiction forum having one of the lower thread/post counts.
I would not be surprised if quite a few people writing fanfic will write porn though, but that's because that's just what fandom does.
