  • Man, lately I'm unsure of something, and it's a big one. Last time I was writing this, I was having issues if I should buy Kid Icarus: Uprising or ORAS first, which is still a bit simpler and cheaper than the ones that I'm having soon. Since I was hoping for months that Nintendo of America released New Nintendo 3DS on regular size because I think the weight of my current 3DS XL might be the cause why my hands were cramping instead of a certain Free-To-Start game (and not to mention that the Circle Pad is practically broken for months), once I heard that New 3DS is about to be launched soon, as a bundle of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, I decided that I might want to get it ASAP, especially because I like the Isabelle's Kisekae Plates and all.

On the other side, I also wanted to get a Wii U as well, since currently it's starting to be filled with good games. Name Splatoon, Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, the highly acclaimed Super Mario Maker, and also Pokkén Tournament, all of these makes me want to get one as well. However, I have a problem… It seems like my current economy (at time of writing) makes me not sure if I can afford to get them at the same time.

Anyway, I just hope that someday I can get both of them at the same time while still able to afford to buy anything that I need like foods and drinks. I don't know when my wish will came true, but I wish I could.

  • for me personally, I don't want to get a Wii U because I feel it's really too late to get one, what with the NX around the corner in 2016. You could argue a case to get one anyway if Pokken tournament, Mario Maker and Splatoon are games you think you'd play 24/7, but I'd rather have a console that I can play for the long-term with a lot of game than a console that I'd get bored of with just a few games.

Just something to consider. It's up to you since I imagine it is rather expensive in Indonesia to purchase these things, so yeah.

Yeah, that's another factor that I've been considering as well. Besides, I think New 3DS might be tad bit cheaper than Wii U (I would predict New 3DS Bundle will be around Rp. 3.250.000,- while Wii U with 32GB in it has Rp. 4.200.000-ish, according to the local stores.)

Yeah, at least the 3DS still has production and attention going for it, so out of the two, my opinion is that the 3DS would be your best bet.
