Battle Description |
This was my first online battle in all my years of playing Pokémon. Nervous, I chose what I thought to be my best Pokémon!
Round 1 | Salamence vs Shiny Haxorus
The battle started with dragon versus dragon. I chose 'Dragon Claw' in hopes to get a first strike but I underestimated Haxorus' speed and he OHKO'd me with 'Outrage'.
Round 2 | Lapras vs Shiny Haxorus
Lapras' speed was not high enough to attack first either so he was hit with 'Outrage'. Surviving the hit, Lapras OHKO'd Haxorus with Ice Beam!
Round 3 | Lapras vs Shiny Cloyster
Lapras was still slower than Cloyster so she made her Cloyster do that move where it lowers it's Defense and Special Defense but raise Attack, Special Attack and Speed. However, she clearly underestimated me as I OHKO'd her with 'Thunderbolt'!
Round 4 | Lapras vs Shiny Heatran
This is where the battle got lame. She had her Heatran cast Magma 'thing', It's like Fire Spin but does more damage with the initial attack.
Lapras got a 'Surf' off before she made her Heatran cycle between 'Protect' and 'Substitute' and allowed the Magma Spin thing lower Lapras' HP enough for her to use another Magma Spin and finish him off.
Final Round | Tyranitar vs Shiny Heatran
Alright crunch-time. Tyranitar tried desperately to use 'Earthquake' but Heatran continued to cycle between 'Protect' and 'Substitute', fortunate for me though. Every time she used substitute it lowered her Heatran's HP. Not long after using 'Substitute' did it's HP become to low to use it again. Now she was forced to spam 'Protect' after the second attempt however, it failed. And Tyranitar's Earthquake finished him off.
I won my first match in Rating Mode. So happy. :D
