Look at this image above. Yes, it's me & my boyfriend, Roy. On this picture, it was during our second date. Aren't we cute?

ANYWAYS, this blog entry is not about him…sorta. But if you look closely at Roy, you see two necklaces. Both of them have dolphin charms. One of them is a dolphin charm that's carved entirely from buffalo bone. He gave me that necklace when he came to visit me one time when I wasn't feeling well emotionally & physically at one point (brought me brownies too :D), today I still have that necklace, never had the guts to take it off because I knew it was something special to him.

The other one is a dolphin with a pebble that changes color in the sunlight. Its base is silver, and had a rubber-like string that makes it comfortable to wear. It looked rusty when you look closely, that's because one time Roy ate a sandwich from Starbucks and that made him feel awful, making him puke.

Speaking of "special", these two necklaces he had meant so much to him. He went to Hawaii last year with his family, and according to him, he claims it was the happiest time of his life, as well as the best time he's spent with his family…before all the shitty family drama started to went down. He always tends to look back at this trip to seek happiness, and he had held on to those two necklaces to keep him happy. As we both barely started dating (two weeks to be exact), I kinda…sorta became another "source" for his happiness, and I became his strength & motivation…which prompted him to give me the dolphin necklace that was carved in buffalo bone. To this day I knew it meant so much to him, and he would be devastated if I ever lost this necklace, so I never took it off for ANY reason.

However, a couple weeks ago when I visited him in Galveston, he told me that he lost his blue-green pebble necklace when he was unpacking his things at his new place. He felt like he lost a piece of memory from his heart, and the only way for him to obtain the same exact necklace would be going back to Hawaii. He claims that he had it when he moved in his new place. Not even his mom knows where it went. I wanted to give the buffalo bone necklace back to him so he could be happy again, but he refused. He says that seeing me with that necklace makes him happy enough, and wants me to know that I'm his.

This….prompted me to do an EXTENSIVE, BIG ASS research on the same EXACT necklace. I've been searching for it each and every day. For that same exact necklace…all the way to the exact details. Same color, same charm, same rubber-like string, same beads, same quality, same size, same texture, same EVERYTHING. I wasn't going to give it up and keep Roy in the same emotional state he's in right now. I just…couldn't. You know that one entry I wrote about being "in love"? This is what I meant.

Today, as of this entry, I am proud to say that after 2-3 weeks of constant searching, I finally found it.

At first, the seller of the necklace I wanted only had smaller charms of the blue-green pebble. So I messaged him if he had more supply of the larger version of the necklace. They were sold out. :(

I'm pretty bummed that there may be a chance that I won't be able to find *exactly* what I wanted straight out of my mind. I already ordered another Hawaiian-style dolphin necklace. It's the same one that I currently have, but the cord is black, and the dolphin is wood-carved. I should be able to get it by next week or so. That way when I go visit Roy next time, I'll bring him that necklace as a special surprise. Quite honestly I feel a bit out of sync when I have a dolphin and he doesn't, afterwards we'll match. :D
