  • I do IB 20th Century History at school, and the teacher sent us home without any real holiday homework (other than a ton of reading to do). I didn't really mind, since I love history and I was probably going to read anyway. BUT COUNT ON HER TO GIVE US SURPRISE HOLIDAY HOMEWORK DUE IN 5 DAYS. Now all of a sudden, I have a books-worth of pages to read and make notes on, as well as an essay to plan out. I just found out today over my school's email system, but she sent it out on Thursday. I got it today and was like:

But I think I can pull through this. I hate history essays though. IB expects us to write essays at 1st year university level. :/ Now I have to cram for these 2 days remaining. -.-

  • Part of IB is appealing, but our school just offered standard A-Levels. The good thing was that you only did three subjects. The bad thing was that you only did three subjects. (However, we definitely weren't required to do university level writing: my essays were sooooo bad in school compared to what they're like now.)
