First off, the music is FANTASTIC!
Really, really good. Prof Elm's music is so much better now, for instance, the psudo rival's theme music is catchy, the battle music is WIN... so yeah, pretty good. =P
The 'how to catch pokemon' tutorial guy on the first route is missing/. D= I missed his lacking of face...
There's an npc in the grass on the route south of blackthorn...
Items found on the ground more plentyful - Potion from the first route still there, but on the route right after cherrygrove, there's already another item to be found (Can't read what it is, sorry =P)
You can't get berries/apricorns from trees UNTIL you talk to someone inside the first house you see north of Cherrygrove - he gives you an Apricorn case, and voila! You can get Apricorns. Apricorn animation = amusing.
