  • I saw it coming. I knew I'd be screwed hard by that one exam I attempted on 6th of April. The results are out. Virtually no improvement from last year - even though I spent a whole year studying and this is my second attempt. I did manage to prepare myself for it, though. That this was my last chance anyway and if it doesn't work out then I'll just accept whatever I get and move on. So when I saw the results I wasn't really sad or crying or anything. In fact, ironically, I laughed. Meh. Now the only thing that bothers me is the society. The people around me. All those mother♥♥♥♥ers will ask me questions like 'But you spent a year? That was useless, wasn't it?', 'oi Vikalp, what did you manage this year? Tell me your score. Please??' and 'are you not ashamed? You're a failure, you know that?'. I know remarks and questions like these won't matter to me at all 5-6 years down the lane. But for now, they'll sting me like hell - as if a barrage of arrows pierce my body.

Though on a brighter note, I managed a good-ish rank in another exam. Might make it into a good college called VIT if things work out. I sincerely hope it does. Please, please do. Please.

Please speak up for yourself if people ask you such disrespectful questions and belittle you as a person for not doing as well as they expected you to do on a test.

You'll find your way to where you want to be in life. I'm not someone who believes everything happens for a reason; ♥♥♥♥ happens sometimes, but I do believe that in the end things work out.
