"Millions of people in England and Wales have been warned to prepare for heavy rain and hurricane-force winds on Sunday night and Monday."

Any advice you can offer? I have no experience with this sort of weather so it's normal to be slightly worried, no?

This is England we live in. When are the weather predictions for anything other than "cloudy with a chance of rain" not totally inflammatory? d:

well, it actually depends on where you live. some areas might be experiencing SUPER DUPER HEAVY MEGA WINDS WITH BUCKETS OF RAIN, but other areas there may be nothing at all. Either or, you always have to stay on the safe side and please dear, please be as safe as possible.

Pretty much all you have to do is stay inside your house.
