expecting comments about how much it needs revision
Spoiler:
Have you ever just sat down for the afternoon? It's relaxing — just sitting there…nothing meant to do…nothing to be done. What a time that is, a time that's both so fleeting yet necessary. Not only necessary to whatever stress is going on in your life at the moment, but necessary to enjoy a new life, a second life, waiting above them, in the fantasy of reality.
But what a fantasy that is! Nothing gets done, and people become angry that you didn't do anything!
Don't worry though — in the moments you were daydreaming, you escaped to a higher level. None of that "transcendental" hippie philosophy either — it's just another world that is slightly more perfect than the one we all share.
A perfect world. Your perfect world.
Now, everybody has their own, so nobody can relate to yours as much as you can to your own. For example, your world may have a cow that flies over the Moon. I gotta share it with you! And you present your lunar bovine to someone that has some time to listen. But that another will tell you that no, it was a bat! Someone else might butt in and object that it wasn't the Moon, that's impossible! It was a park bench. Then yet another might add that it was a socialist bat. What a shame — he was a nice bat with a good knack for business. But wait a minute, bats can't be socialist, they're Communists! Have you ever seen a bat that lives on its own? They live in communes, basically!
So quickly, your jumping cow anecdote is mired in a heated discussion over where Communist bat morality belongs in Central Park. And such is life, which is to be appreciated for what it is.
But living in a world like this isn't really any more productive than just sitting there, and escaping to your own world has the added bonus of fewer discussions of flying mammals with controversial opinions obstructing your preferred progress in life (or rather, that life).
What's that? They can't see your perfect world? You tried, didn't you? It wasn't something they wanted to see, so I guess that it's their loss if they don't want to see it.
So, keeping in mind that everyone has their own universe to peruse, we shall explore the one of somebody you know nothing about (well, maybe apart from a blog post or two). And please, tell us your own when you have the chance! But for now, we will peruse the mind of this individual.
