With slow business, rumors of layoffs and other crap going around my job and Anime Boston in 4 months, I think I may have three options for me to utilize if I do lose my job.
Either way...
I WILL GO TO ANIME BOSTON 2009!!
Okay, as of January 20th, I have saved up $500 so far. My goal is the $1800 region. I hit that goal last year, but that was before the recession bullcrap. But now that everybody's paranoid about the economy, including me, I've figured out how many weeks it'll take me to reach that goal of around $1800.
If I save up around $100-$120 for 12-15 weeks, I will most likely hit my goal. Then, I can go to Anime Boston fully loaded!! But that will only work if business picks up in the spring.
If the event that it doesn't and I get laid off in late April early May, I can still get a hotel room for the con, but I'll have to cut the days there to 2. If I hit around $1000-$1200, I can do that if I get laid off.
But in the event I get laid off at the end of Feburary, that will affect everything, but I can still enjoy a day at Anime Boston if I get around $700 or more. I did this once before when I first went to Anime Boston in 2006.
So, those are my 3 scenarios for me going to Anime Boston 2009 if things do or don't improve. Like I said before...
I WILL GO TO ANIME BOSTON 2009!!!!! OR I WILL KILL MYSELF!!!!
I'm NOT going to miss it!!!!!!!!
