Unf. I had to get up at 6.30am this morning...to go into uni...to watch a film. -.- As I predicted last night, five people in total bothered to turn up, as it was absolutely sh*tting it down and visibility was down to "LOLS YOU CAN'T SEE XD" level. If we don't get a 'proper' storm over the weekend, I'ma gonna be really pissed.
So we crowded around one table with our cardboard cups of tea, stone-cold hard croissants and grim negative expectations...and actually had a good time. The film was Mrs. Dalloway, starring Vanessa Redgrave (hai enjoy being a champagne socialist much?) and I enjoyed it a lot more than the book. -.- Especially the Septimus storyline. It makes me want to go back and re-read Pat Barker's Regeneration, and I thought I'd never pick that book up again. :x
ANYWAY ON A MORE POSITIVE NOTE. I bought the new Ministry of Sound album from iTunes, which is some kind of compilation of 80's electronica/synthpop. It's like trying to cram all of my childhood memories onto three CDs and I love it already. The only thing that freaked me out was that when I was listening to Kim Wilde's Kids in America, Dad danced past my bedroom air-guitaring. >_>; GO AWAY. D8 The only thing that annoys me about it is the lack of Depeche Mode. I meant just. what.?
