WATCH THE VIDEO ON THE PAGE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

This is serious. Not only does it do nothing to stop piracy, but it breaks the secure frame of the internet, allows companies to shut down upstart companies due to vague requirements, and prevent even the average user to face jailtime and hefty fines just for sharing their covers of pop songs with the Internet. I can see this greatly affecting PC since there is massive sharing of "copyrighted content" on this site in the form of hacks, screenshots, let's plays, and walkthoughs.

    Signal boost.

Not exactly. The main problem net neutrality is fighting is ISPs who are charging extra for users who visit certain sites or even slowing down the rate at which certain sites load. Basically discrimination against people for doing certain things while on the Internet.

This bill, "Protect-IP", gives power to the content industry to flat-out deny access to specified domain names and allow these companies to hold websites that host any kind of "copyright infringing" materials responsible and cutoff their funding / advertising profits. Their criteria is vague enough to take down tumblr, facebook, and youtube-like sites. The video can explain it better than I.
