    I'm gonna be honest, I'm not a big fan of Samurai. Besides the fact that he leaps around thrusting his long, quivering sword at innocent young boys and girls, there's also the fact that he blames Ash for being distracted by said sword being thrust at him, instigates the worst battle EVER and spends most of the episode calling Ash "novice", before admitting that he hasn't won ANY battles at all. Kinda hypocritical.

    So yeah, I don't like him. Aside from that, though, it's an alright episode. Don't get wrong, it's not bad, but this is nothing when compared to the first episode. Metapod's evolution is cool, but it's nothing truly special. I guess the word for an episode like this is average. My ELOT is below.

    ^ reason why this is my favorite episode. Pokémon back then was hardcore.
