I think Magmortar looks cooler, but in terms of stats, Electivire's got Magmortar beat. Electivire has higher Attack and Speed stats, while Magmortar's special attack and special defense trump Electivire. They're about even, but Electivire would get the jump in a faceoff.

Hmmm, I think I like Electivire better. I like his stat distribution better than Magmortar's. Plus I kinda like electric types over fire types. Electivire looks cooler as well IMO.

To emphasize that these two Pokemon are related by evolution methods.

Looks wise I think they both look ugly so I guess they both lose if this was a beauty contest. Good thing it isn't.

Name wise. Magmortar sounds better. (Personity I was hoping for Magburn but sigh)

Battle wise. I sure hope Magmortar can stand up in a fight. I mean they are equally matched since neither one of them can stand up well statwise against each other stats advantage. I more on Magmortar side because he can burn but then THunderwave can be a problem but it really depends on how they are played.

Personity Magmortar but if Electivire uses a Thunderwave then is more going to be an electivire win.

Electivire has Magmortar beat simply because its trait is so much better. Electric Engine is phenomenal as Thunderbolt and Thunder Wave are so very potent. On the other hand, Magmortar doesn't even get Flash Fire.

magmortor and electivire are both pretty bad, but electivire does have the advantage, but it really depends on their moveset

If you want to be a member just ask.

    Member of what??

And, why not pick both? There's nothing really stopping anyone from doing so...it's just a lot of searching and having to have both Fire Red & Leaf Green (but then again, now that they're less that $20 apiece, who doesn't?).
