Why does america get all the good stuff?

Here in England, I don't think we've EVER had a good Pokemon event. There was teh 10th anniversary event but the Pokemon you could get from that were crap anyway. Who the hell wants a Pikachu when you can just get one in game anyway? Yet in America, there's been LOADS of events! They've had an event for pretty much every single event pokemon there is! And what do we get? NOTHING.

I'm starting to think Nintendo hates Europe or something. =/

I totally agree! I live in England to, I WANT them to move a couple more over here, like.. the legendary ones maybe? Urg.. it sucks, because we either have to hack or receive them in trade to get event Pokemon! And most the trades are hacks anyway. I can't afford to fly all the way to America or Japan when I want a event Pokemon!

I with Nintendo would understand that there are Pokemon fans in england who want to 'Catch 'em all' but how can we, if say, like me, we don't have Wi-Fi or enough money to catch a plane to a different country! For goodness sake Nintendo, make it somewhere in Birmingham, so I can go! they will bring one now, to England, and It will be somewhere to far away :(
    Just to spite me....

Anyway, I am on your side! Who likes Pikachu ANYWAY, why would we want a Pikachu in an event when we can get about 50,000,000 in game! I want a Arceus event or something!!!!!!!!!!!

Who wants events anyway??? Up here in Canada we never get any events, I think they should just let you capture them in-game, events are such a hassle...

Us Americans are willing to waste the money travelling to events though, I've heard of kids getting their parents to drive them through entire states to get to events

Another problem is that most of the events are in New York City. If they want to hold the events then team up with a national retailer so the event can be in more place. A better solution is either not to have any such events or do it over the internet.

You Brits are complaining? Here in Israel the price of one DS device is about 150$ (US). Not to talk about events...

I think this should be in other topics...
And now you blab it all, and your'e absolutely right. It's very unfair. Here in the Philippines I've heard of only ONE event some years ago...

    Move, then.
If events are that important to you, then uproot yourself and get them.

What you do is you get on a line and then you get a Pokemon and are
    told to leave.

In the end, all you get is an item that lets you capture a Pokemon. Not
at all exciting. If you really want to have event Pokemon, cheat then.
By all means, hack the item and capture the Pokemon legit. No one wil find
out and you won't have to move to another country.

Pokemon isn't really associated with England I guess. It's mostly a Japan thing. I don't know why they have it associated in America. But I is thankful that it is.

It's simple, the Japanese manga style is barely known at all in England, and large conventions about things of popular culture aren't so much a thing of British culture as it seems.

Now, the USA invests in everything, even wars that happen to be popping off at the time. xD
They even have a sport for cup stacking, really, how pointless...

Pokemon isn't as big in England as it is in Japan. If you're so upset about not having little pokemon events in England that you'll spend money to get to (gas, lunch, and buying stuff) and that you won't even care about in a couple years, then move to the U.S.A. Frankly, with wifi and all that stuff, it really doesn't make a difference because people could trade to each other.

Yet, that is my own opinion in a group of thousands of different ones. Most of you probably think I'm completely wrong, but I'm not, and niether are you, so look at my perspective please. ;/

You guys have it lucky. You can use ARs to unlock events without people giving you shifty looks. you have no other choice! But if an AMERICAN does it, look out, they are t3h h4x0rz!

That's about £76. That's cheaper than here. DS's are still about £99 here which is $194

    HURRAH FOR RIP OFF BRITAIN!

Stuff like that isn't a problem here because it takes very little time to get to places :) Well, at least compared to America where you can be in a car for about 8 hours in America and still not get there o.O

But the point is I shouldn't HAVE to do that! Nintendo and Game Freak need to realise that there are Pokemon fans in countries other than America and Japan!

    Agreed.

I promise, once you get an event, you will leave the Pokemon to rot in
your PC box, never allowing it to see the light of day again.
