What's its ID number?

Yes, That Lugia sounds Legit, That moveset is not fake because I've seen what It can learn and Caught In A Pokeball must be luck because of the HP being caught low.

So yes, That Lugia sounds Real/Legit enough to me. :)

not sure if its more suited for a breeding bulletin or this one, but say i got a hacked male Espeon, and I bred it with a female Eevee that was not hacked.

Would the new egg pokemon be considered a legit pokemon?

That means: Hacked Espeon (Illegal evidence, Poisonous tree) breeds with Eevee (variable x, let's label it), makes baby egg Eevee (Fruit). Eevee is considered hacked. Hope that helps.

If it's hacked or not is largely up to opinion. Rules of law or philosophy or anything are largely irrelevant because...well, it's Pokemon.

But here's a fact: It can't be identified as a hack without the breeder admitting to hacking or using hacks for one or both of the parents. The hatched Pokemon, coming from one or both hack parents, doesn't carry any information that it's hacked, from the summary that's visible in the game down to the bits of game data.

There's a lot of speculation about shiny WonderCard events but for argument's sake, no, you cannot.

Did you get it from TRU itself or via trade? For better or for worse, hacking has become so precise that practically anything can be done and slip by virtually undetected. What likely happened was someone legitimately received it via Wonder Card/Mystery Gift, then loaded it into Pokesav and clicked "shiny".

(Fake edit: Though you should post a complete summary and stats to see if there's anything else that looks hacked about it)

(Some might say the "all shiny" Action Replay can do this too, but I tested it out myself, and it doesn't affect stuff from the Delivery Man)

That being said, you WILL have an opportunity to get a shiny Shaymin once the key item is released. As of now, it's only announced for Pokemon Platinum Japanese version, and has no date to be released.

There have been reports of someone distributing hacked shiny shaymin wondercards at some TRU locations.

What is the PID on your shiny?

As someone said, someone could have simply put shiny in the box.

But getting a legit shiny TRU Shaymin is 100% impossible.

(Some might say the "all shiny" Action Replay can do this too, but I tested it out myself, and it doesn't affect stuff from the Delivery Man)

That's because the MG pokemon use a different PRNG to get the PID ;)

Not sure if I should say how. Just know that it can be done. If CME says I can explain how it can be done, I will be glad to do it. Its too easy for people nowadays. But someone has done it even when it wasn't so easy, but that time the Azure Flute was distributed along with the event that was taking place.

Well the best way to protect yourself is to be informed.

P.S. BTW, knowing how it can be done will not protect you. For all intents an purposes its the same way that TRU would be distributing. You can only tell the difference by knowing how official events are distributed. (What kind of titles they give to their WCs, etc)

Which location did you get it from, as in TRU location?



On page 4 of this thread over at Smogon someone posted that they got a (hacked) shiny Shaymin and a picture of the Wonder Card was posted.

I also saw a post over in Serebii's forums talking about a hacked wonder card distributing an entire party of Pokemon at the NYC Tru location, but I tend to take posts from SPPF with a grain of salt.
