Are you planning to get the Japanese version and be ahead of many others in your country, or are you just going to wait until the English version comes out?

I'm actually planning on getting the Japanese version, I'm eager.

    tell me about it :(.

I'm incredibly lazy to translate a whole language into english for just one game, so I'm going have to wait a looooong while until the english version comes out for me, but the uk release date will probably be mid-late 2010.

For the 1ST time I will beg my parents to let me buy something off the net. So I will definetely try to get this in Japanese even if I won't understand it. Much more fun to see if it play like the original.

Although I do reckon it'd be very fun to attempt to complete a game in a language I don't know, I probably won't end up getting the Japanese release. It'd be awesome if I did, but I don't have a problem with waiting for it to be released where I am.

I don't see why it takes ages for Britain to get anything...

Since I don't know to speak Japanese, and French class already has me tearing my hair out, I think I'll wait for the English version.

Oh man yeah 'cause there are two months between the US and UK releases of Platinum. TWO WHOLE MONTHS, GAWD.

We don't have a right to moan nowadays with such small disparities between the releases. All mainstream games have simultaneous European releases, and always have. And besides, it's not like the UK gets stuff last. Like I say, the whole of Europe has to wait, and that's not even going onto places like Korea - they don't even have a release date for Platinum yet, and they got Diamond and Pearl more than six months after Europe did.

I'll download a Japanese rom, I suspect, then I'll download a US rom in the time before I import it. =3

I favor in waiting for the English version, simply so I can understand what is going on! XD

If there are changes, I want to know about them.

2010 is a long time away.... I'll could be like two years older. It depends when it's coming out. Two months is a long time too. :( Can't wait... Let's hope this year goes a little faster than the last.

Spending extra money to import a game in a language I don't understand just because of impatience never made sense to me. I'm waiting for the English versions, as always.

"All good things come to those who wait."
You got the quote wrong. It's 'Good things come to those who wait.'
Not, 'All good things.... etc' :D
Anyway, doesn't matter. I haven't got any patience anyway.
I guess if I knew Japanese, then I might get a japanese version... but it's just nice to have the game in your own language for simplicity.

I'm going to get Soul Silver in the Japanese version, then get Heart Gold or both of them in English.
