I just wanted to ask a couple questions about the stealing
    pokemon

1.If the person has multiple pokemon do we choose which
one we want or is it random

2.How will you get the pokemon will it just appear in
your party or will they hand you the pokeball with
    the pokemon in it

    1. You neither choose, nor is it random. If a Trainer is set up so that you can steal from it, there's going to be only Pokémon you can steal from that Trainer, and--most of the time--it'll be either a Pokémon you can't catch anywhere else in the game, or a Pokémon that's really rare. So, if you battle a Cooltrainer with two Machop and a Magmar, you'd only get an opportunity to get the Magmar. (There isn't a Trainer like that, it's just an example.)

    2. After the battle, a textbox will automatically pop up that says something like "Hey, he's got a Magmar. That's pretty rare, and the trainer's defenseless now... steal the Magmar? (yes/no)" If you say "yes" and there's less than six Pokémon in your party, you steal it and it joins your party; but if there's six Pokémon in your party, you'll get a message that says something like "You don't have enough room in your party to steal this Pokémon!" If you either say "no" or don't have enough room, then you'll lose the opportunity to steal it forever.

No rebattles, no coming back and talking to the Trainer later, and no Pokémon getting sent to the PC. You've gotta be prepared at all times if you want to be able to steal Pokémon, pretty much.

Thanx for anwsering my questions and it will be alot
easier to have less pokemon in your party since you
removed the hm moves i usually only caught more pokemon
because of the hm moves and just trained the starter

Here is the list of the stuff I noted (some are repeated):

    - The dialogue overlaps on a guy near the rocket base entrance.
    - Marowak is catchable. The story does not really make sense if that is possible! :\
    - One of the rockets, after you deal with Marowak, won't talk to you. You hear the sound of the "click", but no text dialogue appears. Lolz?
    - You can get 2 Silph Scopes? Why the hell do I need the 2nd? O_o

Regarding levels, I think they should be slightly, slightly higher in the lavender tower. I mean, I lost about 3 or 4 times before that, but the thing is, challenging games are what makes hacks fun! That is one of the reasons why rijonAdventures and Shiny Gold are so popular! So keep that level of difficulty, or increase it a bit! :)

I loved the dialogues, they were overall very entertaining, and you have very, very original concepts around there! I just caught myself a Cubone, a Zubat, a Gastly, a Pidgey and a Spearow. I'll be using Zubat... I mean, it's so Team Rocket-ish! :D And it felt so good to Cut without having a Cut-slave! xD

I had gotten TM 27, so I reloaded from my saved file (instead of my save state), and played through it all again. It was STILL fun. Consider that one of the biggest compliments I could give your hack! ;p

Great hack, looking really foward to the next submission!

EDIT: Played through it again and found one major bug. In the Lavender Tower, you CAN fight the level 30 Marowak ghost. It has Tail Whip, Leer, Bonemerang and Bone Rush, 2 ground-type attacks. Which is the same to saying that my level 9 Zubat pwned it... >_>' xD Anyway... try to delete that guy from there! ;p

All of those issues have already been adressed for the next release.

Weird, it's never done that to me before... Just went through that script again, and it doesn't happen to me. Hmm. Are you sure you're using a clean FireRed rom? That's the only reason I can think of for why something might act differently on your version than mine. Lemme know if any similar glitches pop up in your game.

I tried it on a friend's used the exact same FireRed rom, and it didn't do it to him. Went back to mine, tried again and it didn't do it. Maybe my computer just had a hiccup.

No matter, keep up the good work!

Nothing, after defeating it and returning to base, that is where the game ends.

    Already addressed. Multiple times.

    Again, already addressed.

... Where do you get the second one? I've only got one, nobody else has mentioned getting a second... The only way I can think of where you could possibly get a second Silph Scope would be if you used a walk-through-walls cheat to go to Celadon, battle through the Game Corner Rocket Base, and get the Silph Scope from Giovanni that was present in the original FireRed. Which is NOT part of this game, and which you're not supposed to do, and which is only possible if you use a hack.

Noted. I'm trying not to increase the levels too fast, because you're going to be able to go throughout Kanto, throughout Johto, and then back to Kanto again over the course of the game. Can't make it get too challenging, too fast, or else a quarter of the game will be played at level 100.

I loved the dialogues, they were overall very entertaining, and you have very, very original concepts around there! I just caught myself a Cubone, a Zubat, a Gastly, a Pidgey and a Spearow. Thanks, glad you like. :D

Also already addressed. I'd left a Marowak ghost script there on purpose so that I could test out whether the flags set on the Marowak script above still worked, and then forgot to move it over to another tile so that people with the alpha couldn't step on it. It has already been relocated to prevent future complaints.

It seems I read wrongly and understood that Bonnie gave me the Silph Scope... so when I talked to that female grunt, she gave me what I considered my "2nd" Scope, when it was actually my first. ;p

Indeed. What you can "play" with is the fact that people will tend to continuously remodelate their team. With all the stealing-pokes thingy involved, and minor, minor pokemon catching (just make those pokeballs cost 1000$ each! 400$ is still too little for a brat! ;p), it is possible that actually one's main team is made up of 8 or 10 pokes, which go contiously changing around... At least that's the way I see it. Maybe you could also make the opposing pokes give less experience?...

P.S. I was not complaining about the Marowak, it provided good exp for my Zubat ^^ xD

P.S.2. Restarted again because my name was James, and I did not want to have redundant names with important characters of the game. Guess what... I loved the game again! xD Are you planning on going all-out this summer?

EDIT: Just remembered. If the pokemon level thingy is an important deal, there is always the possibility of: a) programming an event which leads to your pokemons' levels being decreased or b) losing access to your pokemon for a part of the game. Example: your pokes are level 30, and you lose access to them ( maybe they were stolen? oh the irony!!!) You get a level 15 something, and the next trainers you face are once again at level 15s and such. After some progress (the equivalent to be facing once again level 30 trainers), you regain access to lost pokemon.

I understand you probably already have most of the game planned out, and that this kind of stuff will hardly be of use. However, feel free to use and/or modify these ideas if you feel they can enrich the game! :)

Ah, okay, that explains it. XD I wondered for a moment you were referring to the fact that the female Grunt mentions that a second Scope exists somewhere and thought you'd be able to get it later... the second one she's referring to is the one that Red will steal from Giovanni.

Are you planning on going all-out this summer?

    I certainly hope so!

Funny you should mention that... There's a similar event planned for later on in the game, as it happens...

One last post, before I retreat to my medicine-exam studying hibernation:

Taken from WEIRD RED BRICKY THINGAMABOBS: "A wild CKRET2 is inclined to start a variety of creative projects (particularly fictional) which it is subsequently distracted from completing (...)"

    DON'T YOU DARE!!!

Also, I forgot to point out: I loved the fact the rival is of black colour: I had never seen anyone of other race in a pokemon game. Finally, keep that humour... I laughed tons when playing! :)

    Keep up the good work!

Well, I never intend to not finish the projects I start... But I certainly have no plans to be distracted from ToxicPurple. :P One of the nice things about it is that if I get bored with scripting, I can map for a while, and if I get bored with mapping I can sprite for a while... etc.

I think you're the first person so far to point out that the rival's black. :D No one else in a Pokémon game is black. Even Brock looks white in the games, despite the fact that he's much darker in the anime. The only other possibility, as far as I can tell, is Phoebe, and even her OW looks white. Go figure. I'm wondering where the rival's family must be from originally, since darker skin evidently isn't native to any of the Pokémon regions revealed so far... anyway.

Oh, also a question. Are the 386 obtainable? If so, how are trade-based pokemon and happiness-based pokes going to evolve? Are their evolution requirements going to be hacked, so they evolve through level/stones?
