4th Gen Hoenn? (Video)

    I actually don't want this to be true.

    Why? Well let me explain this before I'm attacked by Hoenn lovers:

    This is supposed to be a remake of the 2nd Gen, giving people the chance to not only relive Johto in full DS glory, but to allow trades from the 4th Gen and back to help people complete their Pokedex, or at least fill most of it.

    Now what is the point in adding Hoenn if this is possible? Even if it means you can get Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza using this method. I'm starting to lose faith in this 'remake' as it seems it might as well be the 5th Gen some people wanted and others didn't.

    I can tolerate a slight addition of 4th Gen Pokemon and such, but to add another region which we can easily just access R/S/E for is just pointless in my opinion.

    they better not replace the whole deal of going back to kanto with hoenn, although my hopes for the 5th gen are high, hopefully, something i have wanted forever, a game where you can visit each region individually, but for HG and SS i hope they stick with the original plot

    Nah, Kanto was confirmed already, but either way this is just a shitty cell phone pic of hoenn.

    I just can't believe it.

    So simply, I won't.

    I think it's a hoax. Of course, they could add the Hoenn region, but the levels would be way too high by the time you completed Kanto. And I can't believe that they'd add the whole region for just three legendaries. Plus, it's too convenient that only one picture exists and it's in such bad quality. In reality, people would be all over this with better quality camera phones and what-not.

    I'm sorry, I just refuse to think this is real.

    looks like it could be genuine, but the terrible quality is an easy trick to pass something off as real that was fabricated by someone else. :P

    IF it is real, expect it to be as underdeveloped as the original G/S's Kanto. I'm not quite sure about the technical limitations of the DS and the capacity of its carts, but including a full-sized Jahot, a full-sized Kanto, and a full-sized Hoenn seems to be too much for the platform to handle. :P

    I HIGHLY doubt that. The limitation on the GSC carts was like 16mb. Now we can go all the way up to 264 mb..

    Hoenn was NOT in 2nd Gen. These games are REMAKES!

    Even if it was real, were still going to buy it. Come on I bet more people are going to buy it actually. But I hope its a lie because that's just going against tradition.

    That's Hoenns map alright. And in HG/SS map style. I think they will have Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions in this. As long as we have Johto and Kanto though...

    If HGSS had all three of the places in; Johto, Kanto and Hoenn Id be very happy, I liked Hoenn, but I wouldnt want there to be Hoenn instead of Kanto or something. Three places would give you hours of extra game play tho.

    That's because it didn't exist yet. Though I have to admit, your justification of "these games are remakes" makes me laugh, because of, y'know, Sevii Islands and all that.

    But c'mon, this isn't real. Maybe it's just the poor quality, but that map looks like something that somebody put together really quickly.

    Why do people get upset just by the possible addition of hoenn? So what if it's supposed to be a remake, this would just be a new major addition. If you don't want hoenn, then just don't buy the game, or stop when you beat kanto. I think of Hoenn as something to keep me busy. I like long games ^_^ I hope they put Hoenn in it.....but If they made a pokemon game with all of the regions (or almost all) then isn't that kinda forshadowing them going out with a bang? :O

    whats the big deal guys, if its real its real, more game time for us to play...i dont understand why you would be mad at more adventure/events/pokemon?!?! i really wish they would make a pokemon with all of the regions...that would be the best game ever!

    Well, I'm pretty sure the ds has the capacity for three regions....I really doubt nintendo will put in all three though. They know people will buy hg/ss regardless of what is in it. Anyways, kanto has been redone so many times that I'm sure they'll save it for later. Hoenn seems like it'll be chosen before kanto. If not all three? I guess I can dream. :D

    Bad-quality and looks fake. Also the video was very annoying that it didn't even show the picture until practically an entire minute into it and was full of useless filler. Plus this picture has never been shown by an official source, which something this big would likely have.

    Not to mention it doesn't make much sense putting Hoenn into a GSC remake. When FrLg was made, they had an entire new region to expand the original Kanto's short-lived storyline, but not only does GSC not need extra stuff to do as much as Kanto did, they could just reuse the Sevii Islands instead of randomly adding in a region from a different game.
