    Finally!! MP trilogy!!

Dis makes me very happy, all three metroid prime games on one disc, with MP3's controls and acheivment system.
Made of win... and its coming out in a few days.

i loved number 1 and 2 but never got number 3 for wii, i'm glad i waited on it because now i get all three just for the price of number 3!

just wondering if anybody else is as excited as i am for this.

since I already had all three games, the only reason I'd buy the Wii trilogy is to play 1 and 2 with the Wii controls. Otherwise, I'm still waiting for more details on Other M.

It makes me mad when I invest money into a product, and then they re-release the product with more stuff for less price (unless they offer some compensation for those who already bought the product). It makes me less willing to buy from the company in the future.

If I hadn't already bought all three in the series, I'd be happy to buy the 3 in 1. However, I already spent upwards of $100 on the series, and now they're releasing that much with added value for $50 (or whatever), with no avenue for compensation as far as I see. It's one of those things that just makes me mad.

The original Prime is a masterpiece and one of my favourite games. But I already have Corruption and I didn't like Echoes. So, while I want 16:9 and Corruption's control scheme I don't think I'll picking this up

That's how I feel. I have them all, but the Metroid Prime series is one of my favorite games of all time. I plan to just re-play them all once again. It'll make a nice addition to the collection too.

I might buy this when it comes out over here- I recently watched a playthrough of Echoes 2 on YouTube, having never played a Metroid game before, and really enjoyed it. Depends on the price though. XD

It costs $60, at least that's what I've seen.

And if I had money I would definitely buy it, as I haven't tried the first two games.

I don't think I'll be picking this up because I already have the Metroid Prime games and I don't really like replaying games very much. I think they're really fun games though.

I've never played any of the metroid games /shot

I've heard good things about them though, so I might pick this up...do you reccommend?

I would recommend them to anyone that isn't put off by its massive amounts of backtracking and exploration. The Metroid Prime games did a good job of taking the old sidescrolling Metroid games and putting that same feel in a 3D experience. In fact, the only negative reviews I've read on them are from n00bs who expected them to be action-based FPS's like Halo, CoD, or Doom

Having never bought any MP games, and also enjoying FPS, I'm a shoe-in for buying it the next time I go to GameStop.

Just keeping mind that this is not an FPS, but an FPA.

    First-Person Adventure

Significantly slower gameplay, focused on exploration rather than shooting

Well I was going to call it that, but then I thought that that wasn't even a genre because MP is the only game/series that I know of in that genre.

I own all three Prime games - picked them all up for under $40 total. I've beaten the first one and started Echoes, and I'll probably pick that back up soon and attempt to beat it. I can't vouch for the Wii controls since I haven't played Corruption yet, and the games look fine in 16:9 on my HDTV even though they're not made for it, so neither of those two additions are really tempting me. Plus they used most of the stuff from the PAL version, which altered logbook scans and stuff - though they also fixed numerous glitches and made the Meta Ridley fight in Prime 1 tolerable (more attack variety instead of constantly charging everywhere).

The steelbook case is really nice (I'm a sucker for steelbooks), but not enough for me to justify dropping $50 on three games I already own and haven't beaten yet.

i definetly recommend it i just got it a few days ago and the wii controls on the first two make them much better. but like previously mentioned it isnt your traditional fps like halo or something and if your not into backtracking by all means stay away from this game. i think the backtracking is really well done and kind of keeps you motivated. for instance there will be a spot near the very beginning where you will see an missle expansion that you can get, but it is currently unreachable, you will have to return later with the grapple beam to swing over to it. and the whole game is full of things like this.
the metal case is very nice snd the menu interface is really cool, you are inside the arm cannon.

As someone who's beaten the game before, can you notice any difference in gameplay, graphics, or sound?
