  • Since the Earth Chamber was based on Dotted Hole, what will the Air Chamber be based on? I know the Warp House is based on Silph, and Luneth is based on 2 Island.

    I dunno, I'm just speculating here... maybe the Sky Tower or something like that? ^^ Who knows, anyway, it will be cool no matter what. ^.~

  • What I meant by that is what the original location was, Since Kyte Town is Pallet, and Refia is Pewter, and Morrid's Path is Route 3.

    Anyways... update time!

    First of all, I would like the announce the departure of Magneto20 to Pokemon: WARPED. I think it was about time. However, I am glad to announce his replacement will be my dear friend Sniper6847 (who does not have an account here yet).

    Stage 10 is FULLY COMPLETE! That's right, you heard right! Stages 1-10 are complete. All that remains is the Air Chamber, a small bonus cave and general tidying up of the hack. This means that the beta is soon upon us (hopefully by Friday).

  • Okay, it's Friday! 5:33 AM Eastern Daylight Time (GMT -5:00 with DST in effect). Now... Where's that beta? LOL

    I think I'm gonna fall asleep soon - I've been up all night... Hope I don't sleep too long though, because I'm so totally psyched about this new beta! This is one of my favorite hacks (along with Garnet and Torzach) so I really love when new stuff comes out. Especially since I finished playing all the alphas and betas of various hacks that I've downloaded... ^^;;

    BTW I was kidding in the first (unindented) paragraph, when I asked for a beta. Heh, obviously I can't expect it to be up yet at 5 in the morning! =P

    Anywhich, I bring this urgent update for Warped to bring you terrible news! There's a slight glitch. But I have saved the day! So here's the improved version:

    Basically, Lord Arazar randomly appears in Kyte Town for no explained reason. So this version of Beta 2 removed him. Hooray!

    On a more serious note, I'd like to thank everyone who has shown enthusiasm for Warped so far. Especially those of you who were up at 5 this morning posting on this thread lol! (If your GMT is -5hours, does that make you American? I have absolutely no idea - I'm a suomalainen peto [and no, the first word isn't Somilia] In fact, I wonder if most of this forum is American? We should do a survey sometime to kill time :D)
    So thank you for all the support and encouragement we've had from you guys. We probably wouldn't be hacking anymore if people didn't enjoy our stuff, so merci.


    P.S: I'd be very interested to hear what some of you think what the next Lord will be... Fire or Water? We've had Earth and Air already, so who do you think is next? And who do people think the Leader is? So many questions!

    And btw yeah, I'm American. Well technically I'm Chinese-born and Chinese by blood but was adopted when I was less than half a year old and lived in Brooklyn, New York City, New York State, USA, Earth (lol) for my whole 15 years so far. XD Though I tend to think I'm actually from Mars............. don't mind me. XD

  • Hey, just thought I'd post a few bugs I encounted/noticed:

    1. The message that appears once you have finished the first stage will appear every time you step in the area that triggers the message
    2. If you lose a Pokemon battle (I don't know if this applies to stage 2 only or not), you return to the main warp area and the healing animation runs despite there being nobody there (I will admit that it was funny to see the disembodied voice, though)

    When you beat stages 6-9 and go on the spin tiles the air chamber blocking script makes me jump south and the game freezes.I had to use Walkthrough walls.
    When you beat Stage 10 when you use the spin tiles and you go where the air chamber blocking script is the game freezes. I had to use walkthrough walls.
    In Adair Lake you can enter the asylum without the pass.
    Also I noticed when you save in certain areas it has the wrong name. In my house it says I'm in Kyte town or when I'm in Cookman's lair it says Cinnibar Island/Rocket Hideout.
    This can be fixed by going that map in Advance Map, go to header go below name where it has the V down arrow and it'll change the name to a name of another map.

    Other than that I was able to finish the beta. I only used walkthrough walls at the warp house 2.
    How do you get past the Fisherman in Luneth Town?

    EDIT:I found some more glitches/bugs
    Biker Ricardo has a level 23 Grimer
    Chavette Lexi has a Gamer sprite.
    Bird Keeper Cuthbert has a Grimer and Koffing
    Bug Catcher Isaac has a Koffing
    Bug Catcher Charlie has a Grimer
    Ramon, Erik, Dusty, and Zac have level 37/41 pokemon and they are same ones from fire red. Erika and Zac are Super Nerds.
    Lord Arkos has level 5 Pokemon (All 5 of his Pokemon)

    Looks like there'll be a Beta 2.2!

    Sorry for those glitches, I'm not quite sure how that happened. Especially the Lord Arkos one, cos he was supposed to be a real challenge.

    You can't get past the Luneth Fisherman until the 3rd Beta, sorry.

    Otherwise... was it okay? Is Warp House #2 just as good as #1?

    Stupid glitches. Oh, the shame!

  • :s i dont know wether ive patched it wrongly or not but the Beta 2's outdoor maps are fuzzy and not right. i kinda have to watch my player's actions to find out if i can continue moving.

    Is that just me?
