    How do you make hidden, invisible items on the floor (signposts)?
    If I make some, they don't seem to work.

    Looking at the hidden rare candy in Cerulean City looks like you need:

    Talking Level:
    03 Height 2 (normal)

    Signpost Type:
    07 Hidden Item

    See if that works.

  • update sappy.xml. you're using an older version, or your xml is outdated. get the one that comes with the newest version.

    Hmmm... I download Midi 2006 but that crashes everytime i open a rom, Im running windows 7 :(! But ill try putting the XML from the new one and put it in the old one! EDIT: Worked!

    For you're question! Ofcourse it can be looped, as long as it is a midi file!

    Has anyone found where the tables for the battle frontier in Emerald are? I'm fairly sure it pulls pretty much all the pokemon used in it from a local table that contains the species and it's associated move pool for that instance. I'm not looking to change the battles, the rules, or anything like that...just the pokemon the trainers inside uses. Reasons for this would include things like a reordering of a 'dex. (grass types using fire moves?) I'm not entirely sure if there's any data in the tables it pulls from apart from it's species number and the movepool for that instance. Any help in editing this table would be very much appreciated. Hell, just an offset for it might do enough. Thanks.

    Which Pokemon will appear in fishing with Old Rod, Good rod or Super Rod?
    My guess is, the 1st 5 Pokemon are fishable with Old Rod, the next 3 with Good Rod and the last 2 Super Rod. How correct am I?

    It looks to me like the first two are Old Rod, the next five are Good Rod, and the last three are Super Rod, although I may be mistaken. That's what it looks like from A-Map.

    I'll loop it for you! Here you go, i have now looped your s. file! But for another time,
    just put ForExample: 0079_1_loop: (remember the : cause that iniciates the process i assume) and you put that under the @000000------------------- you see in notepad and still in the note pad at the bottom where you see .byte FINE well over that put: .byte GOTO
    .word 0079_1_loop
    .byte W06

  • Hey, i'm trying to follow TheTheTheThe's tutorial on changing the text box (here), and I've done exactly what he said, but when I save it, the text box isn't changed when I open VBA. It is still the regular text box.

    Is it possible that you have two applications running with your ROM open? If you change the textbox in Tile Molester but then save in AdvanceMap or another program without reopening your ROM, the changes that you made in Tile Molester will be overwritten.

  • if i wanted someone to only appear when you stand on a green s, would i set their movement to hidden on advance map, use the showsprite command, set a flag and clear it afterwards, then set it again when i use hidesprite? because that's what i thought but it didn't work.
    also, what tools do i use for asm? i tried in the toolbox but there was nothing.

    once more, i shall bump...
