Almost every Nintendo fan knows (and has played) at least one of the popular Paper Mario games, which are full of vivid-colored environments, interesting and cool characters, entertaining and long histories, lots (and I mean lots) of replay value, and good gameplay. Here's a list of every Paper Mario:
Paper Mario
The first Paper Mario. A classic, pretty good game too. It was released on N64 and later re-released on the Virtual Console for Wii. Got a score of 9 on IGN.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
The sequel to Paper Mario. It was released on GC only. My favorite, also. The highest Paper Mario rated by IGN, with a score of 9.1
Super Paper Mario
The newest Paper Mario. It was released on Wii. IMO the best story, but bad partners and characters. Hardly recieved by some fans because it erased the turn-based theater style and made it more Mario Bros like. It was originally thought to be released on GC, later both a GC and Wii, and finally on 2007 it was defined as Wii-exclusive. Got a score of 8.9 in IGN
Well, now some questions:
- What's your favorite Paper Mario game?
- What's your least favorite Paper Mario game?
- Would you like to see a new Paper Mario game?
- Do you prefer the based combat style (PM1 & 2) return or do you like the style from Super Paper Mario?
Now, my favorite would be TTYD because it had great story and the best partners, charming characters, the best soundtrack from Mario games and much more things.
My least favorite would be SPM because it erased the turn-based style that I loved D: Although it had a really good story and great music.
I would love a new Paper Mario, but I'd like the turn-based style to return and I'd also like it to be an exclusive for Wii's successor.
I prefer by much the battle style from PM1 & 2, why would we like more of the same on a spin-off the mario series?
Ok people and fans, post! : D
