I've been here for a year and a half.
I first discovered this place when I was searching for some pictures on Google Images, and then when I heard that my best friend had an account here, I decided to join. Actually, I lurked and stalked people around here for a long time first. xD
I was kidding about the stalking part. I swear.
My first friends were pretty much fans of the Pokemon Special Manga, because I was obsessed with it at the time and I hung around the sub-forum. Eventually, I joined the fan club, and spent most of my time over there and in the Pokemon related threads. I made a lot of friends here by then, and then I joined the Wolves' Hideout, and made even more friends and had a lot of fun there. But then I went inactive that summer and have been pretty inactive since then. Now, I spend most of my time in Other Trivia, Other Voting Polls, and Other Chat, and most of my older friends are gone.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. xD

Well I first joined when my friend (loxius) told me about all this free stuff in the trade corner. I got a bunch of free pokes, and I was fascinated by all the trade threads. And so eventually loxius and I made a joint thread. I hung around the battle arena before that, but stopped cuz the thread kept me busy. For a couple of months, I just stuck around the trade corner. Eventually I got lazy and loxius got inactive so I started hanging around OVP and OC a lot. And now I'm just pretty inactive in general and my trade thread is pretty much dead.

This account is just over a day old, but my other account is nearly three years old :O

I came to PC, as a wide eyed No0B with a big dream...To be the very best, like no one ever was.

In all seriousness, i did some sig making, trading, battles, and some good chatting. then i went inactive for two years and only just came back starting anew :D

I really don't have many memories. *points to join date* I obviously just joined not too long ago, and I don't post a crapload here- but I still post enough to get by with. When I'm bored and in the mood to go on a forum, I usually come here to hang out and take a look around the topics. ^_^

    *activate copypasta powars!!!*

My story begins many, many years ago, before many of you were even born...maybe...in an age the Pokemon fandom currently refers to as "the second generation"

14-year-old me was just getting back into pokemon by way of the then-newest game in the series, Crystal, and a rekindled interest in the TCG. As you may expect, I desired to find a suitable website in which I could expand upon my knowledge of all things pokemon. I found myself at a site called Pokemon Trading Cards Online, or PTCO for short. I joined it sometime in the summer of 2001. It was a community based around the selling and trading of pokemon cards, but the community for the video games was fairly small, so I grew bored of the site and got myself banned intentionally sometime in the summer of 2002.

I then scoured the Internet in search of another good Pokemon website, and I eventually came upon Pokemon Elite 2000, or PE2K for short. Impressed with the content the site had, I eventually decided to join the forums there (which, at the time, linked to a more primitive version of the PC we all know and love today) in Dec. 2002, at the age of 15. With the warm welcome I received, I was guaranteed to stay behind even after PE2K split off again and left PC a barren wasteland. It was during this time that one newbie with the username of "Arcanine" joined, and through a little friendly competition between the two of us we quickly reached the top ten posters list and kept the forum alive (or at least, mandated the database reset that occurred almost immediately afterward).

With my level of activity and my reputation for helping newbies adjust to the forum, I was modded almost immediately after the database reset in Sept. 2003 (age 16), and as events played out, I was later S-modded in Dec. 2004 (age 17). However, due to an unfortunate series of politically charged events that most staff members from that era try to forget(they were pretty petty and immature reasons in hindsight), I, along with a handful of other staff members at the time, stepped down from the staff for our own reasons. Afterward, with college looming nearer, I slowly but surely started disappearing from PC beginning in the summer of 2005, showing up for a week at a time every couple of months, and finally disappeared altogether in the fall of 2007.

    ...

One day, approximately a year ago, 22-year-old me caught wind of a new Pokemon game that might rekindle my interest in the series after the huge disappointment of D/P...remakes of Gold and Silver being called, HeartGold and SoulSilver. Wanting to hop into the fray and join the speculation machine, I figured there was no better place than my old Internet haunts...the Pokecommunity.

As to why I made a new account instead of having my old account's name changed...I can't remember. Pick any of the following reasons and it'd be just as valid as anything:
    - I wanted to guise myself as a newbie so as to not intimidate other newbies.
    - I wanted to symbolize how I've grown and matured since I abandoned my old account
    - for the fun of trying to catch up to my old account in terms of postcount (already over 2/3s of the way there BTW)

...and yeah, I plan to stick around for the long haul now. If I'm super-special-lucky, I might just have my second chance at being a staffer this time around. XD

TL;DR version: Despite this account's join date, I've been around the community practically since the very beginning, less a two year absence, and used to be a mod before politics tore the community apart for stupid reasons.

well well where to begin ashdjfhasl

august of 2009, i had just moved and had no one to talk to. i had never really used the internet aside from popular social networks like facebook to keep up with my friends. before id moved i was playing pokemon games for nostalgia, and i stumbled across this site several times upon looking for help with the game. i didnt understand what a forum was or anything like that, but i joined the site after awhile out of curiosity but didnt become active until july. i think thats how it went anyway. well i stuck around for awhile, got to know the place, made some friends (n enemies :o3 thats what makes life interesting rite!) and met my boyfriend here (romantic indeed). i've also been accused of trolling here and there, really im just having fun, i love how uptight people can be.

Pretty much, I joined here two years ago (this month, to be exact~). I was on a quest to find a good site to talk about Pokemon Special, and just to finally be on a forum again. It's been years since the last forum I went to died, and thus I was determined. So I goggled, and eventually, I got this site, right here.

And even better? The default theme was "Forever Standing", one of the Pokemon Special themes. That and the manga section was all it took to get me here.

So I joined as the name you see here today. I ventured into the manga section, but I didn't post there too often. Not really what I expected it to be. I did post in the G/S/C section a bit, as the Second Generation was by far my favorite. I rarely went to the other threads, thus my activity at that time wasn't very much. At least, until I was at the index, scrolling down the page when I see the following at the Pokemon Club Section: The Pokemon Special/Adventure Club.

I immediately joined the club, and my activity skyrocketed. I posted there every day, and it was pretty much the only place that I posted in. At around that time, it was then that I switched from my Pikachu Caramelldansen theme (that lasted about two days), to my ongoing barrage of Red theme that are still going on today. In fact, today you may hear the saying "If you ever see BinaryPeaches without a Red theme, then (insert something bad here."

That month came about and I gradually started to come back. I still posted at the blue, but the Pokemon Trivia section and the Other Trivia sections I slowly started to post in as well. Eventually, it came to be that I posted in the Pokemon Special club less, and Other Trivia more. About last month, last year, it was when I first met my current pair Roswell or at the time, Yuyuko. I still had a Red theme.

At first, around this time of year, I was paired to her alt Suika Ibuki. I did have a pair before that, but it didn't last too long. A little less than a month later, however, I was then paired with her main account, and after almost a year, we're still paired today~ ANYWAYS, LETS CONTINUE WITH ME and my barrage of Red themes.

So, time went on and eventually I started posting in the Other Trivia section more than pretty much any other section, and it has become my home. I do sometimes venture into other sections, but not very often. Since then, I've stayed pretty active, except for a time when I was so engrossed in Detective Conan, I was gone for about a month in November last year. That's pretty much it though.

Yeah, my biography is lame, but hey! YOU NEVER ASKED FOR IT TO BE EXCITING. OH, but perhaps I can list the amount of Red themes that I remember[/i] used! They ARE part of my history here at PokeCommunity, as what I've said before: you will never ever see me without a Red theme, or else the world will implode or something. They're kind of in order, kind of not. For your all sakes, I'll put this in a spoiler. xD

    Spoiler:

Time to serve up a massive plate of copypasta (posted about a year ago)~ |3

My memory might be pretty jumbled and hazy, but here's the story of my life on PC~

PC was in fact, the very first (out of the only two) online forums that I have ever joined. I don't remember in the least what compelled me to join in the first place, because I left myself no clues in my earliest posts. This is my third account here. Until recently, I've had the habit of packing up and leaving online communities out of nowhere, and returning several months to a year or so later, and starting fresh.

My first account was ShadowCharizard, created in October 2004. At the time I was 16, and in my opinion, an embarrassment to nature. I'm shocked at how different I am from back then, and when I read back over my posts, baffled at how insane I was. Granted, I'm still insane now, but I can be mature about it, and I don't type "u" for "you."

In those days I was completely batsh*t crazy over Vegeta and DBZ in general, and to be honest I don't recall being significantly into Pokemon at the time (compared to other times in my life), so again, it remains a mystery why this was my first forum. I didn't post much, but I remember having posted in the art forums, of course, and made some other stupid threads about stupid things.

I'm not sure when or why, but I left, and I believe during my time away I joined a DBZ forum called MyFavoriteGames, or MFG. That was the only forum besides PC I ever joined.

To make a long story short, I ended up having a crush on a mod at MFG, and became friends with him (he had a girlfriend at the time), but once I got a boyfriend IRL, I ended up migrating away from MFG and moved back to PC as the user DragonHeart.

This is where I remember things a little more clearly. As DragonHeart, I posted art/pixel art threads and probably made a bit more of a mark, though in the end my post count was still under 50 or so by the time I wandered away from PC again. Also during my time as DragonHeart, I remember there being significantly more activity in the art forums. I remember entering a pixel art contest in February '06 and placing 3rd. I remember Cowrie and Forest Grovyle posting a lot in the art forums, as well as Signomi. I remember looking up to those people. I remember a lot of other random people that were there, like Cookie Luvs Green, Allstories, Cybex Mewtwo, and many others. I think that one of the things I loved most about PC was that it was so much more friendly and welcoming than MFG was, what with all those rowdy DBZ fanboys.

For some reason, though, I left PC again, and didn't return until last year, when I made this account. At first, I'm not sure I actually intended to stick around, but wanted to see what had been going on here while I was gone, and see some familiar usernames again. It was my love for nostalgia that kicked in.

I wasn't really too active at first, but gradually I began to see PC as an online home, and with this account, I have been more active than on any other, whether on PC or MFG. Slowly but surely, I'm making my mark and becoming a part of the one place on the internet I can call home.

I'll add on to that story by saying that spring and summer of last year were great times for me here, as I made a few new good friends, when before I'd mostly just been acquainted with people on here or was a bystander just hanging out and enjoying the friendly atmosphere. Without those friends, that span of time last year would have been horrible since I was going through crazy things IRL and didn't really have anyone outside the internet I could turn to during that period.

I kind of floated away again when my real life picked back up, but as always, I drifted back to PC, this time being this past May. Since then I've been just posting normally, but not really engaging in too much else beyond that, minus last month's Pixel Art contest. I finally won it after all this time, but there really weren't many entries at all. Heck, I didn't even know they were finally holding one again after all this time until there were a couple'a days left. I kinda miss seeing the enthusiasm and tons of entries. Maybe it just needs to stick around for a few months to pick back up?

Anyway, yeah. There's mah text-wall fer ya. I be a ramblin' old lady. Derp.

PC has been my home for about 5 years. It's almost impossible to mention every bit of what happened between then and now. Please bear with me.

    Summer 2005:
I joined back in July 2005. I was bored in the Philippines and was a complete n00b. I found PC through a Google search of "Pokemon Ruby cheats." Sadly I didn't find any cheats, but subsequent searches kept directing me to PC. I joined a few days later. My old account was inaccessible until very recently where I good friend of mine was able to retrieve it again. My activity then rose when I got back to the states. I made a lot of friends through the Fan clubs and such. I met many people who were awesome. Sadly most of them disappeared by then. The only person I remember that was there back then and is still here now that still remembers me is Signomi. I had an obsession with Megaman at the time so my username was something like !~Dark Forte.EXE~!. Not exactly the most appealing username, no? After about a year of activity, I left for about a year.
    Summer 2007:
I got Pokemon Diamond and my obsession started once again. I reopened my love for PC. This is the time where I met some of my closest friends and such. This is the time when my highlight of the day was going on the computer and talking to people I don't know personally online. It was all of these friends that kept me here for a long time. I was online MSN constantly and had the best time with people. Sadly, this did not last forever either. Some of these friends disappeared too, and I haven't heard from them ever since. I do have to say though that this part has been my favorite, and if I can only rewind back to this time, I would. I was immature, but everyone else was too. We were stupid and young together. My activity started to dwindle going into 2008 and early 2009. I started only posting in OT, OVP, and OC.
    Summer 2009:
By this time, OT and OVP were my sole boards. I never ventured out of these boards and this but a bullet through my activity. I still talked to people from the previous era of my PC life, but not as much and not as light-hearted as it has been. During an MSN convo, I was invited to join a Skype convo. From then, Skype was the highlight of the summer. By the time I woke up and until I slept, there was always people online to talk to. Looking back, I really enjoyed my time with the people I met. Many of them I went on and added them on Facebook after swearing I'll never add people I don't know in real life on there. Heck, I got drunk with these people. They also were there during the hangover. Although I enjoyed this time so much, drama and such made this time very erm...uncomfortable maybe, since I was always a middle person. Anyway, activity in Skype ended when the summer did. I rarely talk to the people anymore sadly. I had so many good memories and experiences with them. It makes me want to try again. Oh, I met Netto here too. Awesome guy. d(''d)
    Now:
Activity is slow for me. Not too much to say to people anymore. I still vm people whenever I can. After Summer 2009, PC activity dropped a whole lot. I am trying to come back to revive my account on PC and to repair the bridges I burnt. I'm also trying to meet new people and share memories with them. I now feel very very old now though being on here for so long, even though people surely have been here longer. There is so much I want to share with people but I can't remember or it deserves a whole post on its own.

    ----

tl;dr: I joined in 2005, activity has been up and down, met good friends, still here in 2010.

Well I joined PC back at July 2008 after stumbling accidentally onto it one day being bored. I'll say back them I did find forums a bit cool but I was too obsessed with the game Arcanists to be on forums.

    2009
Somewhere along early somewhere around April I came back to the forums after seeing the awesomeness of Pokemon Groups. It became a high addiction for a while. Around July of 2009 I started trying to make GFX on PSE(Photoshop Elements) started out difficult.

Around August I joined PokeLegends causing me to become a little less active but still really active. I helped host the Photography and Trivia Contest for the PC Get2Gether 2009 hoping to help for the next one the comes.
As time went I also joined Mysidia and Pokestation (When PLN closed) and became just as active there. I became even more inactive here, topping it off with school work and such.

    2010
January of this year I was happy to say I finally learnt CSS after so many hard tries. I moved from PS to GIMP back to PS. I improved so much after taking tutorials although I still have so much to improve. I started to do requests and even though I protest about how much I still suck I keep getting a bunch of requests. I've started trying to improve on my music hopefully soon to be on my youtube.
After getting granted positions at other forums and earning a whole lot new stalkers (cough* Smugleaf) friends my activity has lessened so much at PC. I'm still trying to get back onto PC as much as I can nowdays

I joined originally for Pokemon music, then soon after returned to PC because I felt bad for sort of spamming. Not long after I started to like PC. Then during the first few months of 2006, I was in Mixed Community Groups at that time, joining clubs, one of which was spammed and another had issues with some banned user who kept making alts. Then came April Fools 2006, I only remember parts of it, I wasn't involved in anything, but it was still interesting to see. Not long after I got a few friends who I stayed close with for a while. One of which decided to leave MCG, our home, and go to the DCC. Two of us followed him and managed to abuse the DCC by posting only for postcount (that and MCG is how I have the 5th highest counting postcount on PC right now), then sometime in January 2007, we got told that we weren't allowed to post in the DCC anymore or something. Eventually we came back, but all the fun we had sort of changed.

I reached my 10000th post on April 5th 2007 (iirc), which...would mean I got 10000 posts from November 05 - April 07 >>; And then... sometime in April I created an alt account that I decided to use as my main account for the rest of that year up until January 08 or something when I asked Erica to swap usernames or something. Um. But before that, during 07 I met a few people through group convos, PC, etc that I still am close with now (such as Scott :3) aand... I went to the PC chat from like November - January 08, and cause of what people were saying there caused me to quit PC for just over a month.

When I came back, it was free name changes, so I took that opportunity to become HOPPING FROGGY KISSES (note, I had more username changes than this, juuust lazy.) And... oh btw, the reason I came back then actually affected a situation a few months ago and because of that I've sort of became a better person because of that. So anyway, around April, I got Maly/Jess as friends and then all my friends began ~forming~ and when it reached July 08, we all had fun, dared eachother, etc. It was great! Except for the fact that I still didn't realise how immature I was, oh well. Um. Then came October 08, when Nick made me a supporter, which was an omg moment. And I appreciated.

Then uhh, oh yes, in January everyone got along really good and such (I forgot to mention I was paired with about 17 or so different people over my PC time, but I'd rather not go into details too) and... we found more friends in early March/April/May/June 09, when this newer group of friends formed who sort of branched off into doing their own thing by the start of 2010. But... a few of us stayed around from 08, and that's sort of who my main friends are now. Now back to July 09, dramas month. Oh, let's not forget June was too. (And yet I still didn't realise I was at fault.)

September - November I took a break from MSN and posted only on PC, which was the 14000 post count time, when Audy banned me as a joke and other stuff I can't remember. Then stuff happened in December/January that...yeah ew. Not going to go into that, but then basically from February-half way through May or something (btw I got together with Scott in April) I was trying to find out who I really was on PC, and started talking to bad influences. Thankfully, at the end of May, I realised what was right and since then, life's been great on PC. :3

And yeah that's my PC life summarised. There's probably a lot of other important stuff I should've included but it skipped my mind and these are just the basics, so yeah!

I think I joined about three years ago. Don't remember exactly, and I didn't check my recorded join date because, well, I'm lazy and a bum.

Anyway, I first came here out of pure curiosity and a growing re-interest in Pokemon (I had just bought Emerald, only to learn I already had it... but I've been playing since the First Generation came out!). I was a bit of a novice back then, I'll admit. Then I became decent pals with a member I haven't seen on in AGES, shanecdavis, I think was his username. Brilliant man, and we even traded Pokemon through mail, by sending each other our games (this was before DPP and WiFi, mind you!).

Then I got into competitive battling. I had built my team on Emerald, following IV breeding and EV training guidelines, and transferred them to Diamond. Turns out I had an odd talent for battling, and that's how I became slightly well known among the Battle Stadium.

I've been described as a ghost, spending time here and then vanishing for weeks on end (college a *****!). Nowadays I don't battle nearly as much as I used to, but I still accept challenges and take part in the tournaments. And recently I spend more time in OC, but I still call the battle stadium my home, and probably always will! There are many breeds of Pokemon players (the casual players, the [IV] breeders, the [EV] trainers, the traders, the shiny hunters and collectors), but I'll always be a competitive battler at heart. ;)

I feel stupid.... Why? I'm one of those people who joined to play Shiny Gold. LOL, I know, I know, but I did. I was into playing these hacks that were different, and found out they were ROM hacks. That was in February. Now, I'm an awesome ROM hacker, xD.

Well, haven't done this in a while. HERE WE GO.

    2002
In the summer of this year since I was off school for a few months and wholly addicted to the internet, I started to branch off out of my home forum (then Pokémasters) and I'd pretty much joined every large Pokémon forum at the time and then a bunch of smaller ones, too. One of the smaller ones I joined was an Ikonboard with a spot for a slogan on the banner, which I thought was pretty neat. It was "We are working on a better slogan". I was amused and noted the forum specifically for website discussion and I joined. Come the end of summer, I drifted back to my home forum and mostly forgot about the small sites I frequented.

Then one week in December, one of my best online friends at the time, Cas, was raving about this new forum she'd joined and become really popular in. It wasn't until she said she had a fanclub thread that I finally went "no way, I have to see this". So she linked me to the forum and the first thing I noticed was the new "We are still working on a better slogan". Recognizing PC as the quaint little forum I'd joined months before, I signed up again and started posting once more. It was fun to look back on my introduction thread 'cause every other person knew me from other forums so it got to like 3 pages from back-and-forth discussion which was a huuuge thread back then. xD

    2003
This year started out pretty badly. Cas got fed up with the way staff were treating her or something and decided to spam up the forums in a last blaze of glory. I happened to be away from the computer all day when it happened and that was lucky 'cause otherwise I might've been roped into getting banned as well and I wouldn't be here today. Then soon after, PE2K, the forum PC had merged with in late 2002, decided it wanted to be its own forum again so they split off and activity plummeted. But I stuck with PC because I was slowly getting addicted and when Ruby/Sapphire released, activity picked up. I kept posting and, despite getting modded at my home forum (TPM, in the Fan Art forum, my main haunt), PC was sloooowly taking over as my favourite.

Then on June 24th, I got modded on PC. Kwesi popped up on AIM and asked me if I wanted to be a mod and where I wanted to mod. n_n (Yeah, back then it was really disorganized. The WHOLE STAFF voted on people to mod and then that person got to choose their forum, so if a boring forum was modless, it would usually stay modless.) I chose OVP (which was then MVP, Mixed Voting Polls) because it had no moderator and was very active and JE (which was Other Anime at the time). :) I was so happy to be modded since I'd been vying for a position since like February. Only about a month later, they needed S-Mods and Arcanine & I were chosen for the job. Because Shining Arcanine, the (self-appointed?) "head" S-Mod liked Andy's username and they wanted a female on the higher staff. EXCELLENT REASONS TO PROMOTE SOMEONE, AMIRITE?

Anyway, stuff happened. In September of 2003, the database for PC started going haywire. Database errors left and right and usually when they'd happen, something would get corrupted. I lost several thousand posts once, and we had to close any thread when it got to 10 pages or 100 posts or something because otherwise the threads would just disappear. :| Eventually it got so bad we just gave up and decided to start over. The old database was saved (though eventually lost) and we started fresh with a new one. The move was really chaotic since Kwesi & Steve opened the new forums without... modding all the previous staff and it was mostly a free-for-all as far as registering went and trying to keep things under control as people posted eeeverywhere. XD; That database is the one in use today. And that's why my join date (as well as a lot of oldies') is Sept 03. :3

    2004
This is where the years start to blur together. XD In the earlier years, I wasn't nearly as outgoing and "public" as I am now. D: I mostly lurked in the staff forums and contributed a lot there but would only get the occasional post outside of the forums that wasn't a mod post. And since most of that stuff is wholly uninteresting, I'll skip over it. Especially since while looking at old HQ threads, all I'm finding is a lot of threads that Kairi/Abby and I got really off topic in while discussing things that only tangentially related to the topic at hand. (I swear we got work done first though!)

Umm, we put the T-Dome up in 2004. It was a "mature" forum that people had to request access to and we allowed some sketchier threads in there hoping a smaller sample of the community could handle it. S-mods were basically made admins in order to help with giving access to the forum since otherwise, the only way to become an admin was to have a community site. Yeaaah. That eventually changed when Abby became a Praetor (and then she became an... Abby and Andy became Praetor). :( I got fed up with this and eventually managed to get the groups separated. Though it meant I was kicked down to just s-mod whereas others (well, Jake, since he made themes) moved up to Praetor. (Praetor, btw, is the equivalent of Assistant Admin.)

We also did elections in 2004. :D I was in charge alongside JKaizer (aRedMoon is his name now, I think?). It was really annoying and I think I refused to handle the vote tallies the next (and last) time we did it. It was just a popularity contest but it was fun to watch all the campaigning and whatnot beforehand. n_n

There is like no record of all the drama in HQ, which is surprising, but there was also the whole Abby x Sawah thing that tore PC asunder in late 2004. :( It ultimately resulted in both of them quitting (and coming back a few weeks later orz) and made a lot of people resent a lot of other people. At some point during all of it, I got sick of it and quit for a while, partially because I was so annoyed with the situation (and refused to pick sides like everyone wanted me to :C) and partially because I'd convinced myself I wanted to concentrate on school. Later realized that the situation had calmed down somewhat (and it was immature of me to not have called out both sides on being jerks xD) and also that it was grade 10 and I was doing just fine in school anyway. lmao. I came back as a mod, feeling to guilty to ask for my s-mod spot back, and opted to mod Other Chat and Webmaster's Discussion because neither had mods (I think). The Webbies crowd drove me out, objecting vehemently to my modding there because I wasn't enough of a regular so like 3 days later I went "screw it" and accepted my s-mod position back. XD

    2005
Abby x Sawah drama continued. Abby had been made a Site Admin and Andy became a Staff Admin and it became a Blue (the site admin colour at the time) VS Red sort of deal. It ended in Abby quitting again, I think, and eventually I think she and Sawah got themselves banned. :C After that, though, PC slowly started returning to normal.

I'm pretty sure in February of 2005, I finally got promoted to Praetor. :D Even though I hated the colour (it was like... a gross dark yellow) compared to my favourite colour at the time (#ff9900! ♥). But a promotion was a promotion and I was still excited. No less than a month later, I was promoted to Staff Admin, invading Andy's group to become the second one ever... I think. :) Cue Jake not speaking to me once until he was promoted there too. XD

What else happened in '05, hmm. I think we turned off rep for the first time (though that might have happened in '04). We brought back the T-Dome for another crash and burn. There was a huge series of fights in the HQ that summer. Fun stuff. 8| More probably happened but I think that's the only notable stuff.

    2006
I honest to god cannot think of a single worthwhile thing that happened in this year that really affected me personally. Oh, except changing my name to Demyx for 6 months (the limit at the time) and I hated not having the name Lightning for that duration. All in all, it was probably why...

    2007
...I quit the staff on April 1, 2007. I'd been toying with the idea for months and when Ryotarou/Jorfe and I talked about it together, we realized we'd both lost that spark and found it a real chore to get on PC each day to post, let alone do mod work. We thought it'd be hilarious to resign on April Fools so we did. I kind of expected to drift away from PC at this point, especially with the stresses of senior year, my not-so-great health, and applications for university buuuut... I ended up getting more active.

It was nice to have a fresh perspective on PC. A bunch of other supporters and I got the colour changed from the old nasty green to a nice purple and I started posting in forums I'd never really paid much mind to before. I was actually having a lot of fun on PC for the first time in a long time. And it was nice to not have to worry about staff drama or dropping everything to deal with a thread that was out of line.

The months went by and I started to miss my spot on staff, though. D: My activity hadn't deteriorated at all so I decided to ask for my spot back around August or September. (Again, I felt too guilty to ask for my full spot back so I suggested S-Mod or AA and got AA. xD) A few months later I was promoted again and I've been an SA ever since. (b' ')b

2007 was also the year D/P released in the US... and I got obsessed with Cherrim. I'd been bothering someone to make me a Cherrim style for PC for nearly the entire time I was off the staff to no avail so that was probably like the first thing I did when I got back on staff. And I still use Blossom Shower to this day. ♥ :D

    2008
Don't remember too much. Again. We added the supporter perks, I think infractions were added to PC (and I didn't give one out for like half a year because the new system confused me ;~;) Um, Emblems came about (which were so much fun to plan 8D). We brought back reputation. That was exciting but quickly turned into a massive headache when the exaaaact same problems from the first time resurfaced. :( Probably never trying that one again, orz.

Also NO MORE SITE ADMINS. \o/ I sound like a bad person for saying that but people cannot even begin to imagine how much stress that group ended up being for me from 2004 onwards. :( So its removal was a huge step toward fairness on PC and was a long time coming. (Not that it solved all problems but it certainly helped a few peoples' superiority complex. >_>)

    2009
Posted loooots during the summer. Probably doubled my mod actions in that time too. \o/ That's when I started my quest to climb the posting ranks. I started out as like 15th highest and made my goal the top 10. Then sloooowly made my way into 3rd or 4th place. I was so proud of my progress. :'D

Met up with quite a few fellow PCers (actually that also happened in '08 but '09 was more notable because eeee meeting best friends).

The Get Together last year was also a lot of fun. I didn't do much with it but when I hosted the iSketch free play. It's online Pictionary with a Pokémon wordlist. When we played that, it sparked a bit of an obsession with it around PC for a month or two. XD The best was how I'd draw Cherrim somehow for EVERY WORD and then the one time I actually got the word Cherrim, no one guessed it for a while, assuming I was just drawing something else in a roundabout way as always lmaooo.

    2010
Best thing in the history of ever happened but I cannot say what it was.

Added the BW forum and had a blast modding it and watching it closely until a few weeks ago when I lost track and then just totally lost touch with it. XD; But I had a lot of fun in there and discussing and speculating about it has definitely gotten me way excited for the games.

Continued being active. Got super active in the summer again and last week I made top poster! That was super exciting becaues I never in a million years would have considered it even possible before last year. And it's kept me active and involved in the community instead of sitting around ignoring PC or hiding out in the staff forums 24/7 like I used to do. :<

...........I like how you can literally watch my get lazier and lazier when it comes to recapping events. XD; Things just blur together after a while. Oh well.

This also just makes me want to write a PC history. ._.
