    Bob. You probably couldn't find the text because it is case sensitive. (like if you searched for the string "Hello Oak", then searching "hello oak" would bring no results, because of the capitals.

  • What are the number of unused flags in Pokemon Ruby? Because in FR it's 1000-2000, but it isn't for Ruby. =\

    Did you import the act into adobe or gimp to get the logo you imported? Because you are supposed to import it in black and white. (and export it)

  • @DrFuji Well, it says that 1000 isn't used but when I used flag 1000 in a Ruby script the flags just kept repeating. :(

    Then it most likely wasn't a problem with the flag itself. More likely, it has something to do with the way that you used the flags. And yes, '0x1000' and up should be free.

    You mean the script keeps on repeating?
    That's because you haven't set the flag. You can't just check it and expect it to not repeat without setting it. Also try using flags within the range 0x200 - 0x29F, 500-79F, 1000-109F.
    Also refer the XSE in-built Guide.

    Any flag/variable can be entered in the Person ID box to make someone hidden. You just have to make sure that that particular flag/variable is either set (in the case of flags) or not equal to one (in the case of variables) beforehand and that NPC should be hidden.
    And by the way, I'm fairly certain that 0x1000 is unused. But I'd be happy if you could prove me wrong.

  • Hey... Does anyone know hoe to change the text when you lost a battle?
    Like, when you lose a battle, you go the center and Nurse Joy heals your Pokemon, how do you change that? And the text also. Same for your mom.

    TILES GONE WILD!

    i have a problem. i imported new houses for palette town but there is a glitched tile error that i cannot fix its in the picture below.

    i did the tiles just like in the tutorial but for some reason the tiles that i put on the map in advanced map are showing up as different tiles in the game.

    You've put your new tiles over parts of the tilemap that would have had animation in FR - Which is why you can see flowers and the ocean. Just move the affected parts of your new tiles in the tilemap to areas which don't have animation assigned to them and you should be fine.

  • Okay i have two questions.
    Both relating to R/S.

    1: in my hack, i have placed berry trees infront of the flower shop, which i think is causing the bottom row of tiles of the house to screw up. however if i pick them, walk away and walk back again, theyre fine... It also seems to appen randomly, not just by picking them, as this sometimes doesnt fix it...
    If you need more info, i'll screenie it.

    2: How do i get the arow tiles in The Mossdeep Gym set to act like the ones in FRLG, if possible? I want to make it so you don't stop until touching a stop tile.
