Goldenrod City because it has the Radio Tower, as well as one of the cutest Gym Leaders ever (Whitney).

    Olivine City, hands down.
I grew up in a major Port City, and Olivine just seems like a place I could fit in.
Also, Jasmine was the first Gym leader whose challenge involved a bit more thought than the routine nature walking in, fighting the Gym Trainers, and beating the leader. Plus, she used one of the new types introduced in Generation II. Steelix scared the bajeebus out of me as a child.

My new favourite Johto city is Cianwood.
It has the new safari zone, which is pretty cool.
Also, my Golbat just decided to evolve while beating the trainers before battling Chuck so yay for Crobat. What a beast.

I agree with Erin, Olivine City is my favorite tied with Ecruteak City. Jasmine's one of my favorite Gym Leaders and she's the favorite in Johto.

I also love Ecruteak because of Tin and Brass tower. (Bell Tower? Really? I love HG/SS just as much as the next person, but come on...) Even during the original games it had a really thick traditional atmosphere that embodied the 2nd generation as a whole.

    My Favorite Town

Mahogany Town is my favorite because I always feel a sense of nearing the end when I reach this small, but awesome town. Adding to its atmosphere there is a big Team Rocket presence linking it the story very well, which also ties into the incredible Red Gyarados. Along side with Pryce fitting his gym perfectly, these are the reasons why Mahogany Town is my favorite place in Johto.

First would come Goldenrod City. I've always had a likeness to the center cities (i.e. Vermillion City, Goldenrod City, Mauville City, Hearthome City). I like the fact that you know you'll visit it upon many occasions and it's centered around various cities, buildings, and other small yet major aspects of the game. In Goldenrod, you already have so much from the GTS, Bill, the Day Care, to the Name Changer, Department Store, and so forth. I don't think it's the best looking city in Johto, but it is a favorable one.

Next would come Blackthorn City; the last city and one of the best in my opinion. It has the Ice Path in the North, then the Dragon's Den behind the gym. It's also one of the spots with the higher leveled Pokémon (although, a majority of them being Graveler, eh). I think this is one of the most calming cities in the game, and also one of the best designed, but still not the best looking- which is very contradictory, don't you think?

...Best looking for me would probably go to Ecruteak City, but it isn't my favorite because that would go to my earliest mention.

My favorite is Ecruteak due to its design its not far from the National Park where bug catching contest are held. It is fairly close to Mahogony and Olivine. Easily could go to Goldenrod for any of the reasons Hiiro listed and return to quiet old Ecruteak.

Goldenrod city would have to be my favorite. I think its because I like those big city's places. I also liked the big Poke market store there and the fact that its right next to the daycare place.

    Olivine takes my vote.

The sound of the waves, the lighthouse, not much people to make noise, the Battle Frontier very close, my favorite Gym Leader too...

Goldenrod City! Mostly because I love the Gym leader ( but not her Miltank) and I just like the feel to it. Especially the Goldenrod Radio Tower!

I'm tied between Goldenrod and Olivine. I think Goldenrod is beautiful, and I enjoy the big city. I also like the feeling of how modern it is, what with the underground thing and the Magnet Train. Plus the Wifi thing that was added looks amazing too.

Though on the other hand, Olivine feels festive to me. I think the decorations make it look nice, and more like a town that closely knit. Plus I think the beach goes in nicely with the new and updated graphics.
