Gamecube Games on the 3DS?

I think IGN did an article, but my computer won't go on that site for some reason so meh.

Anyway, what do you think of Gamecube games being on the 3DS? Like Winde Waker, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, etc.? Also Viewtiful Joe!

It probably will include games because of the Paper Mario inclusion, I think Pikmin is going to be included. It'll be actually great imo because of more games. I'm hoping there will be remakes of some of my favourites. c:

Nah, they were just stating games they would like to see remade onto the 3DS. 3DS sporting damn near same specs, possibly better... I haven't really compared the two.

I don't see it being impossible.

Well, we don't know the specs of it completely. We'll have to wait until we know more of it. Nintendo hasn't said a thing since E3. Which is quite expected- Nintendo doesn't release much on their consoles until release. Well- the 3DS is to be release in Japan very soon, this month I believe.

Actually, they've released a lot of spec information on the 3DS. Little tidbits throughout the past couple months, mainly graphical capabilities and processor information. However, the smaller information like screen dimension weighs it out.

Also, the 3DS is set to release in Japan on February 26, 2011 and March 2011 for the rest of the world.

Only one month? So I guess translating a console is easier than a game, or they're actually translating it early. Either way, March or April is just in time for Pokemon Black/White.

Yeah if the SSB creator wont do a 4th, I want a Melee for my 3DS.
Also I hope there will be a NFS game for the 3DS. Like Most Wanted.

Except it would probally be like some N64 on the GCM. like the Zelda games/Sonic Classics. Same old graphics just compatible with the 3DS in a new package

I don't think the 3DS has enough buttons to satisfy the majority of games. They'd have to be creative with the C Stick, and the Z button. Wouldn't mind some of that Double Dash on there though. That'd be great portable and multiplayer.

i doubt many would happen for the 3DS (if any), although Luigi's Mansion would actually be potentially the most likely out of the bunch, due to the fact apparently the 3DS came about from nintendo people playing around with 3D effects with Luigi's Mansion. I wouldn't be betting on it or others though just yet.

Besides some mentioned (Pikmin and Melee, heh), I recall talking with someone how SA2:B would be fun on the 3DS. Pity that one would never happen most likely. =(

Anyways,
I know it's kind of stupid considering they're actually making a Animal Crossing for the 3DS, but I would do anything to have the original GameCube Animal Crossing become portable.
There's just something about the original, and i'm not quite sure what it is, but I love it to death. WW and CF simply cannot compare.

Probably some sort of nostalgia.
