History
Max, son of a market clerk and born in kanto, pewter city. He started going to the pokemon school when he was six and his love for pokemon has growed very
large ever since. He was known as the 'popular' at school and was always asked to hang out. One day he was asked to go to Mount Moon with one of the last
years. He went with them to the mountain and watched the view, and the way down though he slipped and almost fell from a cliff, but he managed to hold on.
The boys helped him back on the cliff, when he got back on the cliff the boy saw his face, which was full of blood and took Max to the hospital. This
accident was the birth of the scar on the left of his face.

He graduated from pokemon school when he was 12 and has cared for wounded pokemon ever since. Mun was also a wounded pokemon, he was just a baby when max
found him, with a very high fever. After one week of looking after Mun, he was ready to let him go, but it didn't want to and has stayed with Max ever since.
NOw the 15 year old max is ready to travel the Unova region with his partner Munna, with the SS. Anne they travel to the Unova region to start their journey.

When Ariana turned 11,on her actual 11th birthday,she saw her first rainbow.She took this as a sign she defenatly needed to start her journey.Later on that day she was in the woods,taking a last look around her home area,and she found a Emolga who was beaten and brused.It looked like it got into a big fight with a other wild pokemon.Immidietly she carefully picked it up and ran it to the local pokemon center.When she gave it to the Nurse Joy said it would be fine.Once it was healed she gave her back to Ariana.That Emonga became Ariana's first pokemon.

konekodemon just told me that she gives me permission to take over the rp (see profile), so I'm going to be taking part in the rp with tepig and will be in charge of the roleplay.
I'll announce each route and town as the roleplay progresses. this is the first roleplay I'm going to be in charge of, so bare with me if I get things wrong or take some time to respond to roleplay posts. there shouldn't be much problem though. :)

Carl's hair is stylish, rather long around the sides and the back although not too long at the front. His hair is black with blue streaks, and he has a side fringe which sometimes falls above his eyes, which are also a dense shade of blue. His skin is rather pale, as he doesn't like to sunbathe.
His favourite outfit consits of a black t-shirt with a white cardigan and blue jeans to match his eyes and hair. He regularly wears sneakers/trainers rather than slick shoes, going with the trendy look rather than the sleek look. Also, he sports a black watch and a blue messanger bag to store his equipment during his travels.
Appearance is quite important to Carl. He doesn't like to walk around looking like a mess, because appearance tend to be a vital factor of a friendship or relationship. As implied, Carl's favourite colours are blue, black and white as they all go with each other, and that they all appear to match his personality.

Personality
Carl's personality can vary. Most of the time, Carl is a casual and down-to-earth person - he can be a listening and caring person to anyone who truly needs his help. Also, he tends to be quite laid back and doesn't let little things affect him, unless they're truly endangering. This makes him quite a well-balanced person.
However, to people who he doesn't know, he tends to be quite shy, and defensive to those who try to confront him and take him on. His determined spirit keeps him motivated to keep up to anything he has set his mind to, and any foe that tries to take him on, no matter how intimidating, he will retaliate. In the end, as long as he gets his own way, Carl will remain satisfied. When Carl does not get his way, he tends to go off in a depressive and moody attitude which puts him off track.
This aside, Carl has a softer, more sensitive side. Animals are his speciality, dogs in particular. Reptiles as well. He one day dreams of defeating the Pokemon League with a team full of animals, although he wouldn't mind having the odd indifferent pokemon to join the team.

History
Carl originates from Rustboro City, Hoenn, where he has lived ever since he was born. Since he was a child, Carl had performed rather well at school and eventually he began to study Art, before then he took an intrest to Pokemon training after attending a course at the Pokemon School in the city, which opened up a door to a whole new world to his life. Ever since, he abandoned his studies in Art and focussed more attention on what it would be like to be a Pokemon Trainer.
During his research, his family have always stuck behind him and supported him so that he could achieve his dream. His mother, Sandra, who works down at Devon Goods in retail, has had many experiences with Pokemon training and has given Carl some advice on how to become a trainer himself. His older sister, Kacy, has already set off on a journey of her own, exploring the Hoenn region alone, just like Carl intends to explore Unova.
After Carl conducted enough research, he was ready to leave home and catch the ferry to Unova. He does intend on returning to Hoenn one day, as a powerful trainer with a collection of strong Pokemon. For now, he caught the ferry from Littleroot Town and travelled all across the sea into Nuvema Town, Unova.

I'm going to set up nuvema town shortly, for those who haven't included how they caught their starter pokemon in their history. I'll also set up some rules on how many posts should be included per town/route and such.

Sry couldn't see Cookiez post.......my net is wonky, I've changed my starter to Pidove, so that Cookiez won't get angry at me for taking Oshawott.

it's okay, you're still in. however, you'll still have to edit pidove's moves, you forgot to give it an egg move. :P

ANGRY AT U!!!! Jk. Will there be multiple legends for us to catch? Or will one person get 1 legendary?

I'm not sure about including legendaries, but if I was to include them, then I'd probably make it so each person chooses a legendary they want to catch and then in the place most appropriate, the legendary may be caught there. the post would have to be really detailed though. after all, it is a legendary pokemon.

I've posted the OOC thread, although it's just getting moderated at this moment. as for nuvema town, I'll post it in just a minute.
just a reminder, as the leader of the RP, I'll judge on how pokemon are caught and how much pokemon level after a battle. however, I shall be taking part in the RP as well, so I'll be making things fair for everyone.

Nuvema Town​

Nuvema Town is the smallest town in the entire of Unova, and the first point of your journey. The sun brightens up the town and sharpens the colours of the dense green grass, and the deep blue water. There are few parts to Nuvema Town, and they all tend to be rather small.
First part is the harbour, located at the south of the town where people tend to get ferries from place to place. As well as this, imports of Pokemon and Items get shipped in to Professor Juniper.
In the centre of the town, there doesn't appear to be much places of interest. The town mainly consists of trees and plants, a very peaceful area. Also, there are several small houses and cottages dotted around the town, where the friendly citizens take residence. Apart from that, there doesn't appear to be much else. No shops. Not even a Pokemon Center, although at this point in the story, it shall not be necessary.
However, there is one point of interest in the town, and that is the Pokemon Laboratory of Unova. This is the hotspot where all beginning Pokemon Trainers start their journey, where Professor Juniper gives advice on how to become the best trainer around.​

Things to do in Nuvema Town:
-> Visit Professor Juniper

Professor Juniper is possibly the most famous character in the entire of Unova, and is the expert of all Pokemon within Unova. She is the person who helps out beginning Pokemon Trainers, in this case, you. If you've already received your starter Pokemon, then it shalln't be necessary for you to include that. However, that is not the only thing Juniper has to offer. You also receive your Pokedex and Town Map from her, which are essential tools which you need to guide you through your journey.​

You're not the only one about to begin your Pokemon Training journey for the first time. Also beginning their adventure is your rival. You could meet them in any way you want, although the more interesting the better. They could be a nice person, although it would make more sense if they were self-centred like the stereotypical opponent. This part is optional, although having a rival can really help you create some twists and some really interesting battles.​

Angel gazed at the small town she had stopped in. Nuvema Town. A quaint, pretty little place. She looked out over the ocean, and felt a pang of sadness. She missed DreamWeaver. She sighed. She had chosen to go on this journey, she needed to deal with what it entailed. She had eaten her breakfast outside, and finished her orange juice. She got up and headed to Professer Juniper's lab to recieve her starter pokemon and her town map and pokedex. She took a deep breath. Once she recieved her starter pokemon, there was absolutely no going back. She walked towards the doors, quite nervous. She walked in and greeted the pokemon professer. She gaver her a cute as can be shiny purrloin, along with her town map, pokedex and a few pokeballs to get started. Angel thanked the professer and walked out. She had named the purrloin NightStar. She was petting NightStar as she sat down on a bench. "I have a feeling you and I will go to great places together, little Nightstar", She said.

Gene had just arrived in Nuvema town via a ferry from Sunnyshore city, Volkner the gym leader of Sunnyshore had got him a ticket so Vel could come to the Unova region to begin his pokemon journey and achieve his goal. As he got off the ferry he noticed that Nuvema didn't have a port so he was pretty much getting off at a beach near by the town. Irritated by the fact that he had to walked all the way over there Gene took this as an opportunity to look at some of the pokemon that roamed nearby. X say some time of puppy looking pokemon, a bird pokemon flying by and a rodent looking one also. He didn't know what pokemon they were but he knew that none of them really sparked his interest besides the bird one. He figured he would just use his started pokemon for a bit before he found a new pokemon that he found would be useful. Once he reached Nuvema town he noticed other people around his age go into a building at the right upper corner of the town.

"Must be where the professor of this region is located at," Gene said to himself as he quietly followed behind the others. As he reached the building he could tell this was a pokemon lab because he noticed this was the largest building in this small pathetic town. He slowly walked in and then looked around to see his competition. Then he saw Professor Juniper, she seemed like an odd woman to him always up beat and what not but X didn't really care he just wanted his pokemon.

"Hey professor lady don't worry about give these incompetent fools their pokemon and pokedexes just give me my pokemon and pokedex and you won't have to worry about a thing I'll be the one to beat the Unova league and document data on all the pokemon in this region these other fools will just get in my way!" Gene stated quiet loud, well loud enough for everyone to hear that was in a close proximity. Professor Juniper just gave X a weird look and handed him his starter pokemon's pokeball, a pokedex, some potions and a map.

"Thanks now just sit back and watch as Gene Velix Carnum takes the Unova region by storm with this pokemon you just gave me!" Vel exclaimed as he walked out of the laboratory with a devilish smile on his face. As he reached outside he pointed his pokeball to the ground and a green snake like pokemon somewhat beamed out in a bright flashing light.

"Snivy!" The green snake pokemon exclaimed as it stretched its body out. Gene was impressed this pokemon looked like it would make a great partner. From his guess this pokemon was built for speed and strength. Curious to learn more Gene took out his pokedex to find out more information.

"Snivy, the Grass Snake Pokémon. Cool, calm, and collected, Snivy uses photosynthesis to collect energy with the leaf on its tail."

"Alright a Snivy, you'll make a good partner says here you are a male and you know Tackle, Leer, Vine Whip, Wrap, and Magical Leaf. So let's give you a nickname, alright how about V! Hi V my name is Gene Carnum your trainer," Gene said as he put away his pokedex and got squatted down to V's level. The happy V stuck out his hand and the two shook hands, this was a start to a great friendship. ​

Angel saw a boy and his Snivy shaking hands. Just before that, the boy had yelling about being the best trainer or something like that. Angel didn't really pay attention to people who were annoying. However, NightStar was interested in the little grass snake pokemon, and jumped out of her arms and raced over to the Snivy and his trainer. NightStar was batting at the grass snake, wanting to either play or battle, Angel wasn't sure which one. She forgot to hide her wings as she ran over and scooped NightStar up into her arms. The unhappy cat pokemon wriggled, but Angel didn't let go. She looked at the boy. "I'm so sorry about that. Is your Snivy alright? I hope NightStar didn't hurt it.", She said, her lovely voice worried and apologetic. "Purr-loin!", Nightstar meowed. "None of that, little one", She told him. "Anymore of this and your going back into pokeball, which neither of us wants to do". NightStar looked at her with a 'aww, do I have to?' look. NightStar reached up with a paw and patted Angel's face gently. "Your a little suck up, but your too cute to be mad at", She said, smiling. Her jet-black wings created shade over herself, the boy, and their pokemon. "My name is Angel. Angel Morganth.", She said in a cheery voice.

Gene watched with an upset looking face as the annoying Purrloin teased V. He watched a bit as his Snivy tried to shoo away the cat looking pokemon by moving his hands as if he was brushing something off a surface. Gene besides straight forward introducing himself took out his pokedex and opened it in front of the cat pokemon.

Purrloin the Devious Pokemon, they steal from people for fun, but their victims can't help but forgive them. Their deceptively cute act is perfect.

"What an interesting pokemon, but at last this pokemon doesn't have any attacks or abilities that interest me how boring. It even has an fool of a trainer who doesn't even know what she is doing how.... let me see stupid," Gene said as V jumped onto his right shoulder. Gene brushed some hair out of his face with his right hand and then looked toward Angel. To his surprise she had quite the strangely unique eyes to him being someone with red eyes himself. He thought maybe he would converse with this girl just to find out what the competition would be like.

"My name is Gene Carnum and this is my Snivy V is there anything in particular that you want Angel Morganth?" Gene asked as he introduced himself. V was glaring at the Purloin he really didn't like NightStar

Angel was taken aback by the boy. She glared, angry. " Listen, boy. I am no fool, nor am I stupid. This Purrloin isn't my first pokemon.", She said, her tone angry. She took out her wallet and looked at the photo of her and DreamWeaver after they beat the Sinnoh League Champion, Cynthia. The Elite Four and Cynthia were in the photo as well. "DreamWeaver. A shiny Dragonair. She knows Dragon Rage, Dragon Rush, Agility, and Ice Beam. She and I traveled all over Sinnoh, battling and winning Gym badges. After we beat Cynthia we started compeating in the Sinnoh region contests. We won so many ribbons. I miss her so much", She said, looking a bit sad. She shook her head and her eyes got hard, cold. "The point is I'm not stupid or a fool", She said. NightStar was glaring at Gene. The cat pokemon started hissing. "Enough!", Angel hissed back. She was in no mood for it. NightStar looked hurt. "That won't work on me, little cat. Not this time", She said. Her lilac eyes were staring straight at Gene. The wind ruffled her feathers and one of the dead feathers floated to the ground in front of her. She turned and walked to the grassy part of the shore, only about 10 or 20 feet away. She took out some orange juice and started drinking it. She preened her wings after that, picking out the dead feathers and placing them in a neat pile of black. NightStar pounced on them, scattering the pile.

Gene laughed as the girl walked away he didn't care about her previous experiences. Anyone else probably would have been impressed but him not so much. So what if she had beaten Cynthia X could have probably done it five times over with just one pokemon. She was still a foolish female to him and she wasn't probably going to be a threat. He looked to his Snivy who was relaxing on his shoulder and smiled a bit as the two started to walk off.

"See ya later foolish girl!" Gene exclaimed as he started walking off hoping she heard that. V somewhat made a little hissing noise toward the Purrloin and then turned back to Gene. Gene pet his Snivy as the two walked through Nuvema town looking for something to do. Find nothing in his search he sat down up against a tree and began looking through his pokedex. His Snivy climbed up the tree and began napping while his trainer studied.

"Wow there are a lot of interesting pokemon in here V some of these look worthy enough to catch," X said as he looked through the pokedex and V let out a loud yawn.

After many hours of lounging around on the boat, a noise which sounded like a bell had began to ring into Carl's ears, waking him up from a snooze. Immediately, Carl looked out of the window of the boat, to notice that he had arrived in Nuvema Town, Unova. He could tell this from the docks beside the big harbour, where all the passengers were already beginning to leave the boat. Ecstatic, Carl got up from his seat and walked as fast as he could of the boat, trying not to push any of the senior citizens in his way.
Eventually, Carl stepped of the boat and onto the docks, and the sun's rays had flashed into the pupils of his eyes. He'd been asleep for so long that he didn't realise how bright and sunny it was. Saying this, he was in a different region now, and the weather would be different. The sun had lit up this small town, and the forestry which supported it. The green grass and the tall trees were all that could be seen, apart from the odd house around the town. So far, Carl wasn't so impressed.
"Hmm, I'd have imagined that there'd have been more to Unova than this..." he had thought to himself on frist impression, "Eh, oh well." he began to walk along the footpath of the town, checking if there was anything which interested him. However, there was nothing to be seen. As far as Carl was concered, Nuvema Town was a grannyfest. Small houses, trees, and the lack of shops didn't impress Carl at all.
On the other hand, there was one thing which Carl had remembered about, and that was the Professor. Somewhere around town, he would be able to seek out where she would be and then accept his starter Pokemon, Pokedex and other essentials for his journey. However, with no map at this current moment, Carl had no clue as to where she would be. Therefore, Carl had to fight his timid nature and ask one of the passers by where she would be.
"Um, excuse me." Carl got the attention of some short, and rather plump looking old lady, "Would you happen to know where I could find Professor Juniper?"
"Of course I do! You see that big building over there?" she pointed to the complex situated in a distance behind Carl. He turned around.
"Oh. I never noticed that, haha. Is that it?"
"Indeed it is, dear. I assume she'll be in, as there's been quite a few newcomers today. You must have some competition ahead!" she explained, in a friendly manner.
"Good! I can't wait! Thanks for your help!" Carl thanked her, and then they both headed off in different directions. Now that Carl knew where he was going, his speed began to pick up with excitement. Each footstep felt like a step towards heaven, as he was almost there - almost ready to begin. It didn't take Carl long to realise that he was running, getting closer to the lab whilst other people stood and stared in bewilderness, they didn't see how long Carl had been waiting for this.
Finally, he had arrived. Carl had turned up at the doors of the Pokemon Laboratory of Unova, and a younger chiild had walked out at the same time, with a very jolly expression on his face and a Poke Ball clutched in his hand. This made Carl even more excited, so without further ado, Carl opened the door and walked inside slowly, holding his excited emotions back, to then seen Juniper tending to one other trainer. A girl, who looked a similar age to Carl, although not similar at all in style. Her hair was bleach blonde, and her eyes were a dull shade of hazel, and they lit up once she had received her gear from Juniper. Just that moment, she had left the building, turning to Carl.
"I'm going to be a much better trainer than you! I can tell!" she said, bragging as if she had knew him like he was her brother. It was an unnecessary comment, and slightly immature.
"Pfft, yeah right." Carl muttered as she strolled out without a care. He let the comment float over his head, his mind was elsewhere, and that was his Pokemon which he was about to receive. Juniper had spotted him.
"Oh, hello! What's your name?" she had asked friendly.
"Carl." he said, first sounding shy, "Carl Banks. I'm from Rustboro City. I contacted you in advance to let you know I was coming."
"Oh yes! I remember!" she said, sounding so sure, "You seem very interesting, the son of someone as experienced as someone who works in a company such as Devon Goods." she stopped for a second, Carl smiled deeply. She continued to speak, walking over to a big machine.
"Now, your starter Pokemon." as she said this, Carl shiverred a bit. He was so excited, the most excited he had ever been, "I have looked at your personality and I think that you seem like a really fiery personality. Therefore, I've got the perfect Pokemon for you to begin with."
She picked up the Poke Ball from the machine, and pushed the button in the middle, and out popped a small, orange and black piglet. Carl had stared in fascination.
"This is Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokemon." Juniper had announced, Tepig then smiling and jumping about. "He's really cute, isn't he? He's also has the potential to be really powerful." she continued to describe.
Carl had nothing to say yet, he was too busy taking all this in. Tepig looked so brilliant to him, and Carl was honoured to use it as his first ever Pokemon.
"I'll take it!" Carl said enthusiastically. Juniper laughed, and returned Tepig into the Poke Ball, handing it to him.
"That's excellent! Now you just need a couple more things before you leave." Juniper reached into her pocket, "Here are a few items which will help you in your journey. Here is the Pokedex, of which you can register the Pokemon who you see during your journey with. Here is the Town Map, which will guide you from town to town so you won't get lost. And here..." she handed these two items to Carl, while collecting a couple more objects out of the desk beside her, "...and here are some Poke Balls to get you started! You may see a Pokemon who you like on Route 1 to the north, and if you do, you may use these to catch it. However, it's better to weaken them first with your Pokemon, that'll make them easier to be caught."
"I understand, I've done my research." Carl felt confident, and nodded.
"Well then, I suppose it's time for you to get started! The first Gym is two towns to the north, in Straiton City. Keep in touch!" she said with a big smile on his face.
Carl packed the objects he received into the bag on his shoulder, and began to leave the lab. This is it. Finally, he had received his first Pokemon, Tepig, and he was mroe than thrilled. At this moment, he could not wait to get started with his first battle, whoever it may be with. One thing was for sure, he wanted to build up his team with many Pokemon to cross his path, and beat all the Gym Leaders and eventually the Pokemon League. This was his dream, his destiny, and it was only just about to take flight.​

Neil's sapphire eyes flashed open, but he continued to rest on his back in the quaint ship cabin. The speaker in the corner of the room above the white leather loveseat gently buzzed.

"Welcome to Nuvema Town, and to Unova. It's been a pleasure to accompany you all, and I hope you enjoy your stay," the captain's deep voice hummed before silence fell like a veil over the teenager's room. He assumed most of the other passenger's were crowding the deck, luggage in hand, ready to exit the luxurious ship. At that thought, a pang twisted in Neil's stomach, but whether it derived from his feelings of anxiousness or homesick was up in the air.

After nearly a half an hour of collecting his belongings which he had needed out over night and double checking the room for anything he may have forgotten, Neil made his way up to the main deck where the exit ramp branched off of. He stopped at the top of the ramp, which reminded him of a plank, his hand nervously clenching the rope-railing. The little town was before him, nestled in a clearing in a forest of pines, small houses mostly dotting the area, though one larger, refined building stood out behind everything else. And Neil knew that was his destination.

He was glued to the spot, though. A few people straggling behind the rest, like himself, weaved around the young man and made their way onto Unova, but Neil's legs were held at the edge by anchors. But then his cheek tingled with the most soothing sensation. A new, crisp breeze had picked up over the gentle sea and suddenly Neil felt confidence bubbling in his gut, and a taste of inspiration peppered his tongue. So he effortlessly walked down the ramp without a hint of shame, backpack slung over his shoulder and mini-suitcase in hand, craving adventure.

After walking straight to the Pokemon lab which Neil had earlier identified, he hesitated at the electrically sliding doors, before locking his intentions on getting a Pokemon. He stepped forward and the doors slid open. As he trounced in with once again revived confidence, someone yelled:

"Whoa there!" A girl practically leaped out of Neil's path, catching herself on the wall. Blushing, he froze once more. Apparently his confidence had blinded him to oncoming traffic.

"Sorry sorry, my bad! I'm really sorry!" he slurred with a pleading tone, wanting to face-palm his flushed face. But upon glancing at his victim, Neil could literally feel his jaw drop.

This girl was flipping gorgeous. Her dark hair ended at her shoulders in elegant ringlets, which nicely complemented her expertly tanned complexion. She had eyes of ice in the middle of her flawless face. From what he could see, her bod was hoppin' as well. On her shoulder was a yellow puff thing, with multiple eyes and legs- a Bug type, no doubt. The girl's captivating eyes rolled, emanating her sass.


"Christ calm down. No damage done, we're all good aren't we?" the hot chick rapidly questioned, turning the pity on him as she inquired about his state, though in a very rude and roundabout manner. Neil stared silently for a moment, and her perfect eyebrows rose impatiently.

"Yeah yeah. Look I really should've been watching wh-"

"Save the sputtering apology, won't you? I haven't got the time." She then proceeded to force her way past him and out the doors, which were still being held open since Neil was near enough to the sensor.

"Wait a second!" he called, watching this girl attempt to leave on such a bad note. "Please," he added kindly after she ignored him. The girl stopped and turned. "Look, we got off on a rough foot, can we just redo this?" Neil couldn't figure out why he was trying to hard for a girl who clearly had no interest in him. Instead of commenting, her eyebrows again rose, insisting that he continue. Shrugging, he proceeded to introduce himself.

"I'm Neil," Neil stated with a little, innocent smile. She smiled back, but mockingly.

"And I'm late." Shocked and offended, the boy subconsciously stepped backwards, and the doors slid shut with flawless timing as the late girl finally departed with no intentions of being interrupted again.

So it was with destroyed confidence and heavy steps that Neil entered the Professor's lab. Juniper, a fairly young, jolly woman with dazzlingly green eyes welcomed the boy to the new region and showed him to his options in a circular machine. There was at least a dozen spots around the circumference, but only about six Pokeballs remained.

"I've been reading up on your bio, and I think this little guy will keep you company nicely," she said professionally, and grabbed a Pokeball out of the machine before opening it. A red ray sliced the air in the room and a little white-yellow-and-black squirrel appeared, cheeping happily, and leaped over to Neil, looking up with enormous black eyes. "This Emolga is particularly affectionate, though maybe a bit clingy. What do you say? Does he look like a good match?"

Neil swayed a bit, his head light as a balloon. A permanent partner, that's what he needed.

"He's perfect." The professor smiled, though her new "pupil" remained resolute like a gargoyle.

"Excellent, then here is a Pokedex that I'd like you to try to fill. Just point it at a Pokemon, like so, and it registers its data." She pointed the machine at the Emolga, and the machine read, in an automated voice:

"They live on treetops and glide using the inside of a cape-like membrane while discharging electricity."

"Also, here are some Pokeballs so you may enhance your team, and this is a map of the region. Good luck!" the woman quickly spewed, hastening the conversation as another teenager entered the room. Taking the cue, Neil left the lab and stretched in the sunlight bathing Nuvema Town, a companion nestled on his shoulder.

Nuvema Town and Alex

'Ladies and gentlemen, we've arrived in Nuvema Town, remember to take everything with you, everything you leave in the ferry will be lost', A woman voice said through an intercom. A chubby boy wearing a black vest stood up he grabbed his black backpack and put it on his back, next to him stood a small pink pokemon.

'Mun, Munna', The pink pokemon said. 'I know, it's cool isn't', the boy said. The two of them left the ferry and made their first step in Unova and Nuvema Town. ' Yeah, we've finally arrived in Nuvema town our journey is about to start', The boy cried excited. 'Where are we supposed to go now', he grabbed a list out of his left pocket and read it. 'Wake up...get on the ferry...go to the lab of professor Juniper', The boy read. 'Munna let's go and find professor Junipers....'. BOINK.

'Can't you watch out', A boy shouted to Max. The boy was light skinned had brown hair, he wore a blue polo and had black jeans. 'What do you mean, you bumped up to me remember', Max shouted back. 'Hmpfh, whatever', The boy said and he walked away. 'What was that all about', Max thought in himself and he walked to the town and started searching for the Lab. After half an hour he arrived he went inside.

'Alex I'm happy you want to help me', A female voice said, as Max came closer he saw the boy who bumped up to him talking to the professor. 'Ooh hello, you must be Max, my name is Juniper, professor Juniper', The professor said while greating Max. 'Ye-yes Ma'am', Max stuttered. Juniper moved her head towards Alex ' Wait for Max, you guys can start your journeys together'. Max and Alex faces both transformed both angry. 'Sure', Alex said with a fake smile on his face. 'Max to make a long story short I would really appreciate it if you would help complete this pokedex for me', Juniper said while showing Max the pokedex, it was a red box with a black button on it. ' The pokedex is an encyclopedia, every time you meet a pokemon it's info will be stored in the pokedex', Juniper explained. 'In order to catch the pokemon you'll need this though', She said and handed Max the pokedex and five pokeballs. ' And here is a town map, you can use it whenever you get lost'. 'Thank you professor', Max said happily, he had a huge smile on his face. 'You're welcome now go, have fun, I'll connect you as soon as possible, you both', Juniper told the boys. The boys walked away, both looking to each other angrily, as soon as they got out of the lab Alex started talking to Max. ' Pathetic, a boy like you getting such a responsibility'. Max was surprised. ' I bet you can't even win one pokemon battle', Alex continued. 'I accept the challenge', Max replied. 'Allright then meet me at route 1 and we'll settle this', Alex said and he walked away.

'What a jerk', Max said to Munna. 'We're going to take that guy out'. 'Mun, Munna', Munna cried. 'That's the spirit Mun', Max smiled and he walked to route 1

Angel hissed at Gene and his Snivy. "If you think your so tough, why don't you and I have ourselves a little battle on route 1. What do you say Gene?", She asked. "I'll be waiting on Route 1 for you. Don't leave me hanging", and with that she turned away. She saw more kids come out with pokemon. One had a Munna and another had a Tepig. She tossed her head, her silky hair flying everywhere. Her first impression of the people here was not a good one, and she didn't feel inclined to go and introduce herself. Not after what had happened the first time. She finished her orange juice and packed away her feathers. She got up and started walking. The boy with the Munna had run into another boy on the way off the ferry. She shook her head. She scooped up NightStar and carried him. She was wearing her backpack, so all she needed to do now was walk. She saw the boy with the Munna heading her way. She put NightStar on her shoulder and put her hair up in a high pony-tail. NightStar curled around her neck and fell asleep. She stopped after walking for 10 minutes. This is where she and Gene would have their battle. It was a nice, flat area. "Rest and gain strength, my baby. I'm certian you'll need it. Don't under-estimate V. I suspect that he has more than he's shown us", she said, petting the cat.
