Do you think it's time to introduce more Eevee evolutions?

  • I came across some fantastic fan pictures of different types of Eevee evolutions and it made me wonder if the fans wanted to see more evolutions or start with a new region with a new type of Eevee and multiple evolutions.

    What do you guys think?

    Yes, yes I do.

When I first heard about Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, I had a dream about new Eevee evolutions; they were poison, ghost, and flying types.

I was kinda right, haha, as they did introduce Glaceon and Leafeon...

I do, however, wish that they would make an Eevee evolution for all the types.. :D

just sitting here, waiting, until a ghost or flying type comes along..

  • Yeah, I noticed these really amazing drawings and they basically have all the types that haven't been made. I think they're really awesome.

Honestly, I'm with you on this one. I'd really love to see a flying type but I'd love to see a rock type. Mainly because of the drawings.

    I'm with TheOperaGhost on this.

In the video I saw, there was an Eevee in the wild. I sure hope they add more Eevee evolutions/have the Eevees in the wild! >:c

  • That sounds exciting and honestly, I think it's time we get more and more.

Here's the link of the fan drawn Eevees. I think they're brilliant. link

  • There is plenty of generations ahead imo, so I think if they don't do it 6th Gen that's fine. Or they go about it and skip gens like they did with 3 and 5. So we only get about 2-4 evolutions ever couple gens. I feel it probably is inevitable that Eevee will have a relationship to every type, its just a matter of time really.

  • As nice as more Eeveelutions would be, I'd struggle to think how they'd be introduced into the games. The most recent ones were kind of haphazardly done so, and I fear that any more attempts would be even worse. As well as this, the current six Eeveelutions have a really nice symmetry with regard to their stats, and adding any more would create a sort-of imbalance in this regard.

That being said, I really would like to see a Ghost Eeveelution. That'd be really, really cool to see.

Not for another generation, no. The only type that would make sense to me is Fighting btw. Steel, Dragon, Bug, Ghost etc are just too unrealistic for me, too much morphing lol.

  • I'd like to see some more Eeveelutions introduced with the generation VI games. For that matter, I'd like to see Game Freak create some evolutions to retro Pokémon. That said, I think it was overdone just a wee bit in the generation IV games, so let's hope history doesn't repeat itself in that regard. I absolutely loved seeing only new Pokémon in Black and White, but it's nothing I'd like to see again. It's not that it was bad, I merely found it more exciting to see evolutions to the Pokémon I grew up battling.

To be honest, I don't really care one way or the other. If they make more, great! If not, that's cool too. I mean, seven evolutions really is plenty for one Pokemon, and one for each type would be a bit overkill, wouldn't you say? But I don't especially mind. I like Eevee evolutions and if more are introduced I'll happily use them.

I would love to see a "new Eevee" sort of Pokemon with multiple evolution types, but probably with only three or four evolutions at most. If it had as many evolutions as Eevee, Eevee would kinda lose his unique appeal.

Agreeing with the apathy here. Eevee never really appealed to me so I don't get why people want new evolutions so much haha. I never use it. :( My question is though, is there enough variations on what each Eeveelution's stats are to be able to even make one of each type?

I agree with Sid Mr Cat Dog, I want to see a Ghost-type Eeveelution. ):

    Otherwise, I really don't care if they added a new Eeveelution or not. It would be cool if they added more because, hey, more Pokemon for me. I just want the Hoenn remakes to be made. xD;

  • No. Jolteon's excellent distribution of stats is quite enough for me, thanks. All the new ones introduced since then, I have had no interest in ever using since Jolteon works better for my personal play and battle style. For me, more of them will just mean more Pokedex filler.

  • Of course! All the "special" types were done as Eeveelutions (Water, Electric, Fire, Psychic, Dark, Grass, Ice), and I'm still waiting for Dragon.

For "physical" types, I'd like to see Rock, Ground and Fighting.

  • "There's a time and place for everything. But not now!"

More Eeveelutions would be great if they took the time to do them right...as great as some of the fanart is, the rest is simply horrible. I wouldn't like to see them mess up any of them...I'm disappointed enough by Leafeon. And, of course, there's no beating Espeon or Umbreon.
