Everybody needs good neighbours

How well do you get on with your neighbours?

At my parents, there are an elderly couple who've been there since before we moved in, they're really lovely people. They'd buy us presents at Christmas and whenever they'd been away on holiday, and we'd return the favour. I still see them from time to time when I visit home and say hello.

Right now I honestly have no idea who lives next door, probably students if I had to hazard a guess. We literally never see them.

I get along fine with my neighbors, I have many since I live in an apartment complex...though that's not to say some of them don't do things to annoy me. The ones right beside me are so/so...the woman is nice and I like her daughter, but sometimes the guy yells obnoxiously loud and get's angry too much, so that sucks. The two upstairs people both have really loud, small dogs that are always barking and they leave trash around outside. But we get along fine lol.
I can't say much about the dogs because my cat squalls loudly sometimes, but he usually stops after a minute or so. The dogs will go on all morning and all day sometimes. Never stopping. >__<

I'm not sure I've ever spoken to any of my neighbours... which is probably a good thing, because the people who live in one of the townhouses directly next to ours have a vanity license plate that looks like it says "POVERTY" so we call them the Poverties and I'd be worried about letting that slip if I ever did talk to them, hahaha.

I live in an area with a lot of houses that are rented out to students so for the most part, the rest of our neighbours change on a yearly or even seasonal basis. I'm not the most outgoing of people so that coupled with the temporality of our other neighbours means I just don't see the point in trying to meet them.

I don't talk to my neighbors at all. We're fine with each other, we just don't know each other that well. The only times I've interacted with them is when I did a survey on community problems for my research.

I used to get along with both of my neighbors great. I used to sleep over and play with the kid that lives to my right because he was 5 grades ahead of me and was really cool because he always liked to play with G.I.Joes. And my neighbors to the right have changed 4 times. The first people that lived there had two daughters that were pretty attractive for their age so I tried hanging out with them as much as possible. Then the people that lived there next stayed for a couple of months before they lost the house, the next people stayed a couple of years before they filed bankruptcy, and then my father bought the house and we had it for 5 years, then we sold it to the people that live there now and I don't really talk to them at all.

I've had one interaction with the neighbours in my apartment complex, and that's when the Indian doctor next door came out to help when my housemate had a seizure right in the middle of the hallway.

We get along somewhat well with them. Like, basic communication here and there... and sometimes they help us with things too. My mom is the one that talks the most to them, but she ends up getting pissed easy because they are the type of neighbors that will ask for something, yet when it comes to doing something for us... they are either too busy or simply can't do it, especially when they are usually all for helping us.

My mom is very bad at controlling her anger, mind you.

Our current neighbours are the best we've ever had up to this day. Both sides are very kind and do nice favours for us and we return them! We all trust each other and will go to each other if we need help. I feel safe living in my house because I know that people around us will help us if we ever need it.

We all get along fabulously. The kids all play out there every day and all the adults know each other. The kids sleep over at each others houses almost every night in the summer. We have little barbecues and parties every once and a while. I absolutely love my neighbors.

On one side, there's a nice old lady that told me I'm too pretty for Facebook. On the other side we have neighbors that stole our trash can (literally took it away and put it in a dumpster miles away), parked in our spot for months until we convinced the cops to deal with it, and we now have a webcam 24/7 facing the driveway in case they decide to key the car.

We have the worst neighbors, and there's always some Jersey Shore ♥♥♥♥ going on.

I don't know any of my neighbors. There's a weird alcohol disabled person who lives next to us who blasts classic rock music all day. There's a family directly above us who is loud as ♥♥♥♥ and has an annoying dog. The dad in that family is the most obnoxious person ever. Apart from that, I don't know them. I've never really spoken to them and I'm not really all too interested in doing so.

Am I the only one who thought of the State Farm commercial in regards to the title...? ;-; Anyway, I rarely interact with my neighbours mainly because I barely get out of the house other than going to school. My parents I don't think talk to them that often either because the only good ones we had moved a couple years ago :c We converse with our Chinese neighbours from time-to-time, and that's about it \: Otherwise, we only wave at the other neighbours whenever we coincidentally see them outside, to be polite.

I rarely talk to my neighbours. All of them are either loud and just hard to approach, or very reserved. I do wave or say hello to them if I'm leaving the house and manage to see one of them.

The only neighbours that I talked to once a week was two guys that lived right beside me. The two of them were in their mid-twenties and were actually pretty funny and relaxed guys. They weren't loud, but you hear the occasional laugh here and there. However, I guess you can attest that the reason why they were pretty relaxed neighbours was that they smoked weed all the time, haha.

We live in an apartment block, so we technically have 3 neighbors..
I've almost never seen the woman who lives under us, and as it appears she generally doesn't talk to people much
My dad is a good friend of our horizontal neighbor, and he has got a really nice family too with which we also do things and such a lot, they're nice people c:
However, the woman who lives over us has like, estimated 4 children with no father who yell and make noise and run around all day, and then she yells at the children, and the children yell back, and then we can't have any silence or wake up really early in the morning or all of such things >.<

I've never spoken to either of my neighbors. A couple moved in next door last October and I wish they hadn't. They have 3 dogs that are loud as hell and they leave them outside 24/7. People have complained but nothing is done. My neighbors on the other side of my house are perfect; they're quiet and I never see them.

I feel extremely safe, considering my neighbor is a police officer. And that I live in a nice subdivision. The ironic part about the police neighbor is that before he moved in, there was a family with a thuggish kid who smoked pot all day and blasted rap music.

I barely knew any of my neighbors, mainly because I only go outside for school, outings or anime events. P:

Probably the ones I know about: a junior from my old school and someone that breeds dogs (it's noisy I tell ya) across the road, a crazy family (as in, they need to go to a mental hospital type of crazy) to my lefy, and a house that has changed owners at least thrice to my right.

Although, we're planning to move in to a new place by June or July so I expect to see new faces.

I'm about to go commit multiple counts of man slaughter. Their kids have been playing with their car's horn for the past 5 hours.

My neighbours are really friendly. I don't know anyone who lives to the right of us, but the guys just in front and to our left are pretty nice to my family and I. They even helped us when a car hit my house. They fixed the windows up for us.
