6th Gen Mega Evolution in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

Only 3 I'm expecting now is Mega Flygon, Mega Milotic and Mega Swellow. I really can't see them having more than 13 new Mega Evolutions in ORAS, perhaps 15 at a limit.

Irc XY had 28, so maybe 14 Megas. ORAS' mega scoop was half of XY's so 14 would be half of XY's total Megas.
I'm hoping, and expecting the new Megas to be another 28.

Mega Slowbro looks pretty cool tbh. I like the fact that it remains derpy looking, and it's cool that the shell is now a more important part of the design. Shell armour as an ability, is also pretty fitting XD

My thoughts on all the ORAS Megas revealed so far:

Mega Sceptile:
It's interesting to finally have a Grass/Dragon type...
The design makes me think of a christmas tree, but it's not bad IMO.
I wonder how well it'll be able to ultize Lightingrod...

Mega Swampert:
LOOKS AWESOME!!!
Water/Ground is excellent typing for both attacking & defending (it STILL has only 1 weakness!)
so I have no complaints about that.
Speed is the only thing that Swampert lacked, but that'll be fixed (during rain, anyways) with Swift Swim
& I see it having greater offensive & defensive stats, so I think it'll be a pretty fearsome pokemon, maybe even
top-tier!

Mega Slowbro:
WHAT THE FREAK?!?
This is in regards to the design...
I would have NEVER thought of it, so this is probaly why it surpised me so much.
It's ability is Shell Armor... isn't that an ability that exists already that prevent critcal hits?
It'll be useful for making sure that it survives, but as critcal hits are very rare, it's a disappoting
ability....

Mega Sableye:
As I have a thing for gems & crystals, I like it's design...
Dark/Ghost, despite having a Fairy weakness, is still pretty good, as that's
it's ONLY weakness. (until Mega Lopunny comes into play.)
Magic Bounce is a good ability for any pokemon to have, so no complaints here.
But I wonder how well it'll perform... Sableye is a pretty weak overall pokemon, so I'm not
sure that a Mega can change everything for it...
But all the Megas has been VERY good, so let's hope that Sableye won't be a expection...

Mega Altaria:
Did not expect it to be a Dragon/Fairy type...
But I actually like it for having this unique typing.
Inceased Attack, Special Attack & Defense...
Sounds like it could be a mixed tank...
I looked up Altaria yesterday & was surpised to find out that it could learn
Dazzling Gleam & Moonblast.
Those will be made MUCH stronger due to Mega Altaria's Fairy typeing & it's
Pixilate ability.
& Pixilate will make Return a Fairy-type attack, so I can see it uisng a Dragon Dance set
using Dragon Dance, Return, Dragon Claw/Outrage & a coverage move or Roost.
Due to her slight obsession with clouds, I think that this would be my mother's favorite pokemon.

Mega Salamence:
This is an another WHAT THE FREAK?!? in regard to design...
It's wing look menacing, but rest of it looks under-devloped, kind of like a baby Salamence...
Although, I have not seen it in action, so it may look MUCH better than what I can see...
But I'm sure that it will be one of the most used Dragons in OU again once ORAS is released...
2nd-thoughts:
My cousin just pointed out that Mega Salamnce looks like the symbol
of the Rebellion from Star Wars... that made it MUCH cooler for me!

Mega Metagross:
PURE EPICNESS!!!
I like how the design inculded traits of Metang, like levitaing & having only arms
& having a "nose" spike while obiviously being Metagross.
Inceased attack, defense, special stats & a drastically inceased speed?
IS THERE NO ROLE THIS MEGA POKEMON CANNOT DO?!?
Tough Claws will be a greatly beneficial ablility for it, inceasing the might
of it's sigature Meteor Mash even further (yes, I looked it up to make sure that it's
a direct-contract move) & also will make Zen Headbutt hit like a run-away train!

Mega Lopunny:
No complaints about the design, in fact, I quite like it!
(so cute!)
I've looked thought the type chart & found that Mega Lopunny's
STAB attacks, because of Scrappy, will have PERFECT netual coverage!
Scrappy will also make Hi Jump Kick safer to use, as Ghosts cannot switch in
& force it to miss. & in fact, Scrappy will make Hi Jump Kick hit Aegislash & Sableye
for super-effective damage!
Hm...do I want this or Mega Metagross more?

Does it have any good boosting moves?

How did I know that it was going to be a Fairy-type?
I think that they designed it VERY well.
I'm not sure of how well it'll do in solo battle, but I'm sure that it'll
be a very good team player in doubles/triple battles, due to it's high defenses
& Healer.

There hasn't been a US Diancie event yet; she's only been released in Japan and Taiwan so far.

Btw, what do we know about Mega Diancie? Like it's stat boosts and abilities? Cuz I don't remember.

Personally, I'm not very fond of Mega-Slowbro, really. It does look okay, but it sort of resembles a huge, gigantic top, which is a theme not very suitable for this Pokémon, if you ask me. Plus, its hands break out of Shelldar's (Cloyster, maybe?) shell, which is pretty strange.

Mega-Audino is simply adorable! I'm very excited for this one. I'm not sure what stats he'll be getting (nor ability), but I hope they're good enough so that it could be utilized more competitively. Only thing that I dislike about this Pokémon is its fur-ball at the front, which is sort of weird-looking; if that hadn't existed, I would have liked it even more!

Reduction to Defense and Special Defense with a boost in Speed, Attack, and Special Attack. Magic Bounce is its ability.

The fur ball reminds me of that cloth (usually red) men had/have on their suits when going to fancy parties (at least in cartoons). So to me it gives it a regal look.

Mega Slowbro looks interesting...makes one wonder if Mega Slowking will be a Slowking with it's head down being eaten by the crown shaped shell(der), with it's eyes poking out of the shell.

We got two pseudo legendary megas in X & Y......and so far we have two pseudo legendary megas in oras.

Don't you think pseudos will probably be kept to a bare minimum in each game, to stretch them out longer? It's just a thought but I could definitely see it being accurate.

Also, making my predictions for Mega Slowbro's and Mega Audino's stat boosts:

Mega Slowbro:
HP: 95
Atk: 75 > 85 (+10)
Def: 110 > 145 (+35)
Sp. Atk: 100 > 135 (+35)
Sp. Def: 80 > 90 (+10)
Speed: 30 > 40 (+10)

It sort of stinks that it doesn't get a bigger boost in Special Defense since its Defense already isn't bad, but oh well. Though, I can see its Speed remaining the same and its Special Defense going up by 20.

HP: 103
Atk: 60 > 70 (+10)
Def: 86 > 121 (+35)
Sp. Atk: 60 > (+10)
Sp. Def: 86 > 121 (+35)
Speed: 50 > 60 (+10)

It gets a similar spread to Mega Slowbro, except with the 35 points in Special Defense and not Special Attack. Also, like Mega Slowbro I could see its Speed staying the same and getting 40 points in its defenses. As a third possibility, it could lose 10 Speed and gain 15 or 20 in its offenses and 40 in its defenses (if only 15 points are added to its Atk/Sp. Atk).

EDIT: Also, I have decided I won't use Audino on my team; however, it will be used for contests because its Mega is too cute to pass up on ;;

I agree. We most likely won't be seeing more Mega Pseudo's in these games. Z/X0Y0/X2Y2 will likely have Dragonite and Hydreigon's Megas. Or perhaps it'll/they'll break the rule and include Mega Goodra too. Interestingly XY had Megas of the Pseudo's of the region introduced before, and the region introduced after Hoenn. So Dragonite and Hydreigon will fit that pattern nicely as they're the one's from the regions prior to Johto and after Sinnoh.

I wonder how they'll spread out the starters. XY introduced four starter Megas. Perhaps we'll get another four too, with the extra two being one of Gen II and IV. Or maybe we'll get all of Johto which along with Mega Swampert and Mega Sceptile will mean five new starter Megas. Then the third version/prequels/sequels of XY could have Six Mega starters, perhaps Sinnoh, and Unova, though that'll leave out Kalos'...which if they leave out Goodra too as I mentioned before will likely make some people unhappy about Kalos not getting what it deserves in it's own games. Or perhaps they can leave out Hydreigon or Dragonite and the Sinnoh starters for those games (as the Sinnoh starter's will get their chance soon as DP remakes probably aren't all that far off).

As for the newly announced Megas. I can see Mega Slowbro with this spread:
HP: 95
Atk: 75
Def: 110 > 150 (+ 40)
Sp. Atk: 100 > 150 (+50)
Sp. Def: 80 > 100 (+20)
Speed: 30 > 20 (-10)
Honestly if this was it's spread it'll be quite terrifying, especially if it, or another Pokémon managed to set up trick room. With the kind of special attack I envisioned here, it'll be a special, bulky sweeper. Btw can Slowbro learn Gyro Ball? As it'll fit it quite well now with that kind of body.

As for Mega Audino:
HP: 103
Atk: 60 > 76 (+16)
Def: 86 > 120 (+34)
Sp. Atk: 60 > 76 (+16)
Sp. Def: 86 > 120 (+34)
Speed: 50

120 defenses on both sides will make it quite bulky. 76 on both offenses isn't the best, but it isn't bad too bad either. It can use boosting moves to raise it's offensive stats (and defensive too if using Calm Mind).

Well there was no Mega Evolution symbol next to Audino, nor is there that much of a significant change in appearence. This makes me wonder whether it is infact a Mega Evolution or just an alternative different stats forme?

I actually posted it a few pages back. That was why I found the source to be a bit fishy. It turned out to be real though. I doubt that it is a beta error, because usually GF's reveals tend to be near perfect in quality, just some tweaks in the environment or so in the final release. (I could be wrong)

If it's not a mega, I think it will be an alternative form of Audino.
The only way to be absolutely sure is to have a person who is good in Korean to analyze the post.

I think these two may be what Masuda is rumored to reveal on the 14th in Gamescom. The 14th is pretty close, which can explain why the Korean site probably leaked it by accident, as they probably have this information planned to be added soon.
