If you hang out with me for the day, and I'm 100% myself, you'll think I'm racist. I make a lot of race jokes, and in our society a lot of people associate any race jokes as someone being racist because they're dumb as ****. But fundamentally, by its core definition, I don't think I'm racist since I don't have any supremacy beliefs.

I am not racist definitely. I have traveled a lot and met many different people with different culture/personalities and that is something that amazes me. Basically good people are good no matter were they come from and I would hate the thought to hate ( strong word by the way ) someone just on were they come from or their appearance without even knowing them. In terms of judgmental I have to be honest I might be doing this subconsciously, but still believe me when I tell do not judge a book by its cover. The reason why I say that is because I worked in retail and have seen how people behave no matter were they are from. Funny thing is I did not realize people can be racist until I was like 19 and started working and interacting with people( I think I was naive and young). Why have hate in your heart? I also look at in a religious view. Racism is arrogance/haughtiness with something you had absolutely no control over what so ever. This also leads back all the way to the beginning, the devil hated humans because he felt he was superior based on how he was created.

Most definitely. I attend weekly services for the Ku Klux Klan and burn crosses in the name of White Jesus and all he has given us, knowing in my heart how the earth should be without the lesser races.

Joking aside, I do think I'm mildly racist, but I definitely have friends who are moreso and pull it off. I try to avoid joking about it too much since it's hard for me to ad-lib touchy things and not be offensive. :/

I don't think there's anyone in this world who is totally not racist. Including myself.

However, I think there's not exactly much racism in Singapore, but rather 'countryism'(?)
Tensions between Singaporeans and Chinese expats have increased significantly in recent years.
Yes, the majority of the population is of Chinese decent (I'm straits born - but it's counted anyway) but Singaporeans won't exactly entertain expats from China. And to be honest, I won't either... Unless that person tries to blend in.

I make a lot of stereotypical jokes. That's about it. I never go around saying that I hate a certain race.

I hate people from certain countries and i mean citizens... But I don't hate people who are different race. Does that count as no?

I don't really know. I'm okay with racist jokes, in fact I am only amused by racist jokes. I've never discriminated a race before aside from getting a laugh. I guess I am a little bit racist?

A little I suppose. Not as a general rule. I do think its unfair that people who are born in their country cannot get housing and yet a family with 8 kids who have immigrated 3 months ago get a massive house provided to them and help to pay for it. I do think immigration is out of control and I think the actions of our government make it very hard not to feel resentment towards these people. Am I against them as individuals? No.

I believe that everyone has racist thoughts and participates in racist actions regularly because we are all raised in an inherently racist culture. This makes the distinction meaningless, so I usually redefine racist for my own purposes as a person who is confronted with those prejudices and doesn't make any attempt to rectify them, or denies that they exist. I try not to do that as much as I can; I'm sure I still fall victim to it because no one's perfect but I try to shut up and listen to people that know about racism as opposed to arguing, which means in my own estimation I'm not one.

But if I don't redefine it and analyze my beliefs, everyone would be a racist.

I believe that we are all implicitly racist on some level. This is because our implicit attitudes towards people are built partly from the culture we live in, and all current cultures are pretty racist. I try my best to inhibit racist thoughts and impulses, and I think I do a better job than most because of how cognizant I am of how racism works and how I openly acknowledge that I have these kinds of thoughts in spite of how unpleasant they are rather than hiding from the political incorrectness of it all.

I am very racist in what I say and that I don't like black people, but I only really date girls who aren't white and 2 of my top 5 friends are black. So I mean, I don't really know.

This thread is about as great as 'are you pro eating babies? Vote yes or no!'

Because, as an atheist, I can't go without my monthly infant slaughter. The trick is to use a good white wine to wash it down with.

I'm not a racist, I hate everyone equally.

In all seriousness though, I tend to make a few racist jokes when with friends from time to time but I never actually mean any of them.

Well, being white makes me automatically racist because I still benefit from institutional racism set in place by my ancestors. But to answer the question: No, I'm not bigoted or prejudiced.

I don't like black people that have their skin black as night. But i keep it to myself and never insult anybody because of it. I still think they should have the same rights and should be treated the same.
