Normal catching rules does not apply to the Poochyena for the hunting mission since they will not be yours. :)

Does that mean in missions where you need to catch a pokemon and a rare pokemon that you can catch as a reward, we'll need to battle it (unless injured) then throw a pokeball to automatically capture it?

Or do we still need to end the post by throwing a pokeball and report to receive your judgement? o:

When I say catching rules apply, like Footsteps and Broken Wings, it means that the post should end with the ball shaking and I will judge it.

When I say it is not, like Huntings, it is not required and it is up to the player if the capture is succesful or not.

Also are we allowed to encounter shines or are they event only? Cause I was thinking that I either want a shiny Pidove, or a Chatot.

Hey Varys, I wanted to know if my Wurmple could evolve in my next post. It's a bit early but it's also a bug Pokemon. I don't plan on having it evolve into Dustox or Butterfree for a while after this. Thanks!

@Oddball_: Missions like hunting typically needs a lot of Pokemon to be captured, so yeah. And shinies are most probably mission-only rewards. :(

@Cayo: Poochyenas in Hoenn. You made a mistake when the old man pulled out his Poochyena and you scanned it with your dex. The man said it will allow you to find a Poochyena anywhere in Kanto, but we're in Hoenn, so...

Also, Mission is deemed successful. Here's a Moon Stone. Also, Sliqu's evolution to Cascoon/Silcoon is permitted.

Since, Cayo already finished a mission post, I just realized I forgot to mention something.

Mission posts are like capture posts. You must end your post with you turning in the quest needs before getting the reward. Like Cayo should have finished giving the five Poochyena to the man and it is up to me if the mission is successful or not. So every mission post must end with a capture or turning over the mission requirement. Do I make sense? :((

Since I just mentioned it now, Cayo gets a free pass.

School and work have been killing me the last few days, and haven't had any time to finish my SU. Feel free to unreserve my spot (thank you for holding it for so long :) ), since I wouldn't want to hold up anyone who might have their character finished and want a spot.
