  • What are some of you top logged hours on Steam games?

Apparently I've played Civilization IV AND Team Fortress 2 for 200 hours each. Holy.

The two Left 4 Dead games I've played a combined 130 hours.

Dead State (which I just bought last month) 55 hours. I still haven't beaten it either!

Those are a few of my top ones. That's about 16 days of gaming, which is not as high as I thought. If you want to find your own totals easily, go to your profile menu, select Activity, then Games and it can be displayed by Playtime.

    I think I may have a problem. :D

Haha, guess I should have read that first. I actually never knew that, I've always just gone here for that kind of information. :P

    Anyhow! My top five.

    • Fallout: New Vegas -- 88 hours.
    • Resident Evil 4 -- 66.4 hours.
    • Warlock 2: The Exiled -- 53 hours.
    • Insurgency -- 48 hours.
    • Bioshock: Infinite -- 35.9 hours.

They're actually not as high as I expected. I only really started using Steam regularly sometime last year, and I have just under 1,000 hours accumulated across all my games.. but I still thought I had more than just 3 games with 50+ hours logged. :v

Also, I really like that my top-played game.. is a game that I put hundreds of hours into on console before even buying it for PC. What am I doing.

Well, there's my top 4. I'd have included more but I could tell that after these 4, a looot of them were games that I'd just accidentally left open while I played... which I'm prone to do because I have a very small attention span when it comes to computer games. (There's just so much else to do on the computer... it's hard to stay focussed!)

But yeah, the only surprising one out of these for me is L4D2. I really love it, but I played it the most on 360, so I'm impressed I have so many hours on PC too. The next two are long RPGs so if anything it's impressive I don't have less time clocked and... Plants vs Zombies is Plants vs Zombies. Across all my copies of that game, I've probably put hundreds of hours in. :P

My total game hours on record is 788.7 hours, as calculated at steamdb. Now that is surprising to me. I didn't think I played that many games, even over all the years, since it's not like that came from pouring the bulk of my time into just a handful of games--even Oblivion is sub-40. @_@

  • I have 43 hours in Fallout New Vegas and 42 hours in Skyrim, but I'm pretty sure the actual difference is down to just a few minutes. After that, I have 38 hours in The Sims 3, 29 hours in Shadowrun: Dragonfall- Director's Cut, 26 hours in Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition (mostly played the PS3 version until recently), 25 hours in Fable: The Lost Chapters (somehow), and 15 or less hours in everything else.

Not much, but I also tend to keep most of those uninstalled to keep harddrive space open and reinstalling takes forever, so that cuts down on potential play time quite a bit.

  • Of games that Steam actually tracks for me, Sim City 4 Deluxe is my top game with 190 hours (and that's just since I got a Steam copy to replace my CD copy 4 years ago). Next is Age of Empires II HD with 38 hours. I have 6 total games I've spent more than 10 hours on in my Steam library.

Most of my gaming time on my PC is spent in non-Steam games like Civ IV (which is a game that I don't have the Steam version of since I've owned it since its release back in 2005), which I've probably put at least 250 hours into since I made my Steam account in 2009.

Expect Final Fantasy 7 to jump up to 60+ hours soon. I love that game so much.

  • My Steam Library is so minimum, can I cry about it? :'D

Anyway... Top 5 (including the ones I play through my brother's library):
    1. Terraria (453 hrs)
    2. Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale (44 hrs)
    3. Castle Crashers (16.1 hrs)
    4. BattleBlock Theater (7.9 hrs)
    5. Pixel Piracy (7.7 hrs)

Yeah, they're mostly indie games 'cause my laptop is terrible haha.

But hey, I have 453 hours logged on Terraria? Good lord, I swear it was 300 hours back at the new year's.

    • She/Her, It/Its
    • Seen today
    My list:
    - Skyrim: 154h
    - Terraria: 91h
    - RPG Maker VX Ace: 26h (not sure if I should count it, though)
    - Mark of the Ninja: 8.1h
    - Eryi's Action: 7.2h
    - Super Meat Boy: 5.9h

Doesn't look like much, because I find myself rarely in the mood for longer playing sessions. I still need to beat MotN and SMB at some point, though.

  • Some of the games in my account are bugged. Like, I have 94 hours in Assassin's Creed 2 but I've only played it for about 40 hours.

^ Even as the artsy type, I never much cared for Terraria, either. Really liked Minecraft before it was popular, but I put way too many hours into it waaaay back when it first came out. I don't think I could ever get back into it again, lol.

Also, I've come back to say that I have finally put 50+ hours on a fourth game: Divinity: Original Sin. DOS is now ranked just below Warlock 2 at 51.1 hours.

I expect a celebration for my efforts. Cake and booze ice cream, the whole deal. :P

While I can't speak for Terraria, Dota 2 is really hit or miss, even though it's a very well made game, as most Valve games are.

  • Steam doesn't show the total amount of time I've spent in Starcraft 1 nor LoL.

Both of which are undoubtedly over 2000 hours.
